I thought I might have washed away a small piece of metal in my eye but wasn't sure. They directed me to opticians they have a list of those who can help with this. I had an appointment within an hour. Optician confirmed embedded piece in my eye (spec savers) they rang emergency ENT and got me an immediate appointment. The piece was removed within an hour, no waiting in a&e. Great process and kept me out of A&E.

Put a complaint in 2 week ago still not heard back from them. Absolute joke of a doctors, some staff need to be struck off. Been diabetic 5 years, in the last 3-4 months they have tried putting me on medication I'm already on then tried increasing my other meds to what I'm already on, then they keep swapping my meds too often although they don't take into consideration a couple of other health issues I have which can interact with certain medication I'm on. They obviously don't look at your records to get the full story before prescribing meds. This surgery is a joke.

I took my elderly disabled mother in law for her 4th covid jab today, she had an appointment for 9.30am but there was a huge queue formed with plp who had turned up without which meant she had to stand outside for 40mins waiting while plp without went in, I was in my car and had nowhere at all to park around the surgery or on Rockwell lane, Why make appointments for plp if this is not the case, My M.I.L can not walk well at all and uses sticks and a wheelchair ..she then had to try walk along the road to find me after as the road was blocked up with double parking, plus they then had no flu jabs left...in this day and age things need a bit more organisation as i saw a load of elderly folk there this morning waiting outside.

Worst receptionist, was given a call back from the receptionist colleague, to try and cover for her mistake in refusing to allow me a call back from the doctor. I was told to go to accident and emergency, like it’s not already full to the brim, when what I really needed was a referral to the radiology department and BRI. Ended the call in tears, due to my severe mental state as I have previous brain injury. Appalled. Better yet I have to wait 2 weeks to ask the doctor to refer me. Update. Went to the Accident and Emergency, was told I have no need for an emergency scan. The lady felt my plate and told me all I need is rest and water. Looking back at the issue, I see there was no need to be forced across town, I hope this will make the practice a bit more understanding of its patients in the future. Unnecessary attitude when the problem could have been solved with a face to face consultation.

I've lived all over the country and also abroad but don't want to move far any more because I have brilliant health support here, far better than anywhere else I've lived. The Practice obviously cares deeply about its patients/me and connects us with the many areas of support we can access. Also, I no longer fear getting through on the phone to a dragon of a receptionist because these receptionists are just lovely! They are cheerful, respectful, courteous and empathetic. If they offer to find something out and ring back, they do so. The nurses are warm and welcoming and always reassuring. I also feel trusting towards my doctor who is quick thinking, decisive and very clever. I am treated holistically, by that I mean that my doctor asks HOW I am, not just giving attention to the particular complaint that day. That approach has helped improve my overall mental, physical and emotional health. A brilliant GP in my opinion. Nothing stays the same in life and I've had big challenges to deal with in my family which have affected my health but I couldn't have got through it all without my brilliant nhs surgery.

My mum was with this practice, she had expressed some concerns with getting a doctor's note when she had trouble with her knees, however I've found the Clinic Manager is very approachable and will deal with any patient problems. So overall I'd recommend this clinic on the basis that they are prepared to help.
