Nice little shop, limited parking area outside, good choice on live foods for your pets. Local location worth a try

Entered the store with my two children, one of them is Autistic, although you "cannot tell" you can if you try to make conversation with her, the owner didn't say hello on entrance, I asked if he had any live stock to which he replied 'yes' ... ( very abruptly and didn't engage in any further conversation)... my Autistic daughter was running her fingers over the bark produce and the owner shouted " Oi, Do Not Poke Holes In That!".. it caught me off guard as She would have never done that.. I needed food for our Beardy so asked politely for locusts, he put them on the desk and VERY loudly said HUHUM... the whole experience was awkward, unwelcoming and after buying 3tubs of live locusts, a quarter of them in each container are black and dead. I do not wish to return to this shop. Its unfortunate that the owner is so uneducated on children with Special needs. A little engagement would have gone a very long way, we are lovely people and this experience was awkward and unpleasant.

Colin is great and very knowledgable - and super generous in giving his customers the Benidorm of his experience. We have a chameleon, 2 bearded dragons and a corn snake - buy all the food from here (Support Local businesses! Also - cheaper than the likes of Pets@Home - and your buying from someone who actually knows his reptiles!) I used to have a pair of corn snakes. When one started acting a bit odd. I took her to the vets (after ringing round and finding the only reptile “expert” vet in the area). The vet said she may be constipated. Looked her over, and suggested a warm bath. We already did this frequently because she loved to have a bit of water time, it’s great enrichment too! So I didn’t think her lack of appetite was constipation, plus she was still pooping. I mentioned this to Colin when I stopped by on the way home for food, he offered to take a look at her and told me almost instantly that she was gavid (carrying eggs and soon to lay them). He gave me some free advice how to make a nesting spot (which I could do with things from home - didn’t cost me a penny). 3 days later, she laid a clutch of 25 eggs (22 were fertile!!) right in the nest box I’d set up. And soon, her appetite returned and her behaviour was back to normal. You just don’t get that type of service anymore! I e also had 3 vivariums from him too, all of which are excellent and perfect for my needs
