We had a baby bond scan and the staff were incredible. There was a good amount of time to see baby, we saw him in 3D too. Staff were lovely, what you got with the baby bond scan was substantial. Can’t fault it, highly recommend.
I recently had an ultrasound conducted by Helen, and I can't express how grateful I am for her outstanding care! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely at ease with her warm and understanding demeanor. Helen took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, which truly helped alleviate any anxiety I had, especially since I have a flight coming up in just a few days. This emergency scan turned out to be one of the best decisions I made, and I wish I had discovered this fantastic facility sooner! Thank you, Helen, for your exceptional support and kindness!
Booked Ultrasound Direct after my 2 local private hospitals offered services a month later. Ultrasound gave me a date in 3 days in Barnsley which is not far from my home town of Sheffield. Not the easiest place to find but find it I did and with no waiting time and a very efficient Ultrasound experience I was on my way in 30mins with report and images in hand. Well done all, a very pleasant and efficient service.
Really good experience, our nurse who did the scan and bloods was amazing really smiley and put me at ease by chatting to me , also told me what was going to happen and talked me through the whole process/ experience. The place smelt lovely and was very clean. Didn’t feel clinical and that made me feel more relaxed and comfortable. The process was quick and easy and we got the scan pictures and measurements instantly. I would recommend and use this company again.
Very disappointed with my experience at Ultrasound Direct Barnsley. Paid £125 for hormone blood tests but staff were cold/unwelcoming, they tried to overcharge me, and then my blood samples were given back to me to post myself — with no warning this was the process. Website doesn’t mention it, and Sunday appointments make no sense as they use Royal Mail as the courier and it was nearly 24 hours until I could take them to the post office. Later I discovered these hormone tests are time and temperature sensitive, so I now have serious doubts about the accuracy of my results. I emailed the company over a week ago to raise my concerns and haven’t had a reply. For such an important and sensitive service, this felt unprofessional and careless. I wouldn’t recommend.
Lovely staff who make you feel at ease from stepping through the door to leaving.. would highly recommend visiting them!!
We arrived early and got in early which was lovely staff are very polite and nice lovely women and made our experience even more special. Great place to go recommend anytime.
Excellent service, would highly recommend especially for twins! The sonographers are absolutely lovely and welcoming. We booked the 4D bonding scan and I was abit scared of booking as being pregnant with twins you're limited to what gestation you can go so I left it until the last minute and went at 26+6 (cut off if 26th week) we managed to get some pictures and videos of twin 2 but twin 1 wouldn't turn around so they rebooked us in for the day after and got us some lovely images of twin 1. I'm absolutely over the moon with the pictures they got us! I wish we had used this company for our other scans as theyre definitely one of the best out there!
Second 4D Scan - Lovely Place This was our 2nd 4D scan here. Our first was Dec 2019 and this one was June 2021. What a lovely experience, we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist, then we went through to the sonographer who was also so lovely and friendly and clearly loved her job. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent 4D scan! We got loads of pictures and video clips and also print outs! There’s additional options (extra cost) for your babies heartbeat in a Teddy etc which I thought was a cute idea. Very nice place, clean and worth the cost. Thank you x
Offering a beautiful and reassuring experience in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere by professional and warm individuals. We came here 2 years ago for a reassurance scan with our daughter and have just attended for a 4D bonding scan of our son. Highly recommended. This time we also bought a teddy with our boy's recorded heartbeat inside, for his big sister. Lovely addition to the service. Thank you.
