   Very poor service today and I'm livid. Wanted advice re a door hinge and whether I had the right one. Older woman looked at me like I had 2 heads and never answered me. Asked old man assistant about get paint out of glass patterned door but he was quite short with me and told me to wait a minute as he was busy cutting a piece of cable. Didn't like his attitude and found him unhelpful. Worse still, the pair of them made me feel like I was something on the sole of their shoe. All the years I've been going there too. Disgraceful!

   I have given one star because I can't leave zero. Waited 7 weeks for some one to come and measure for some new oak doors, 13 internal doors needed in all. I was told my details would be given to the guy whose job this was as he was off but expected back in work soon. Waited a few weeks and phone again. I had slipped through the net I was told. Phoned again to be told I had again slipped through the net and they would be out today. Waited in 2 hours past the time I expected them. No show. Phoned them to see what was going on, the guy forgot to come. Obviously don't need the business in then so will go elsewhere.. Things aren't what they once used to be. Very disappointed.

   Always good for things bigger stores sell only in bulk, washers, screws etc! Excellent range of timber, paints, hand tools and ironmongery. Manbys Staff are ALWAYS helpful and a credit to the late Hal Manby GRHS

   you can't fault the staff.They always go out of their way to help. A good range of stock except for some of their cheaper metal fittings which are completely useless. I have always endeavoured to give them my business in order to help to keep them in business. A valuable asset to the local community.
