Customer service was appalling, Matt was unapproachable and unwelcoming. I don’t think he would know good customer service if it slapped him in the face.
I bought visible used item, went to return and after proving to shop assistant (because Tracy didn’t see it being used) I got my refund back. I recommend asses items better so they won’t end up in never ending circle of returns. I wasted time and fuel to visit shop twice. Won’t be using this store again.
Completely waste of space this store is with poor quality of goods and obnoxious staff. I bought iPhone 17 Pro Max which appeared be broken. I end up sorting this in Apple as this shop is useless. People working there must be really envious so valuable goods aren’t handled carefully and resulting the issue for customer. I will never spend a penny in Argos chain.
Really busy, thankful for the computers screens. Long queues. The staff member yelled my order out in front of the full shop, rather than my order number so everyone knew what I just bought. I think the person forgot to smile today.
Poor service. 20 minutes in the queue for a Fast Track order due to them having no, or lazy staff. Definitely need to do some recruiting.
Very poor, customer service from this store , was served by a rude assistant, who obviously shouldn't be in the retail business, no customer service skills at all , looked like she didn't want to be there, I took something back and her attitude was terrible, I asked to speak to her manager , the assistant then went to get the manager, were they both were both having a conversation behind the stalls in the front . The manager came to the front desk with exactly the same unprofessional attitude, I felt so embarrassed in front of the other customers. As I was leaving the shop , I caught them both sniggering and laughing at my expense, when I asked them both are they laughing at me , the assistant said No they were having a private joke , it must have been a quick joke as it had been seconds before that the manager and I were talking to each other. I have never felt so degraded in my life. How do these two even get employed in this store. I phoned Customer service as soon as I left the store. I or my family and friends will never ever shop at this store ever again. Very unprofessional staff .
Do not buy a TV from these amateurs. I had a Hisense TV develop 2 faults within warranty. I spoke to Hisense and they tried to fix it via remote access and that didn't work. They told me to return it to the retailer which I did and they won't give me a refund. They have booked for someone to come to my house to try and repair it in 2 to 3 weeks. No main TV during the World Cup so i went to another retailer on the same retail park as Argos and bought another TV.
Love St Helens Argos staff are very helpful, professional & knowledgeable, nothing is to much trouble, keep up the good work
Very poor customer service experience. We were greeted by a young lady who was trying to be helpful but the older lady and male in the store were talking down to her like a dog. It made us feel very uncomfortable. The older lady was called Adele and really needs training in customer service. She makes up her own policies that are completely different to those on the Argos website. Avoid this shop and try another store if possible as the environment is toxic.
