   I’ve been going to Hot Nails for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my nails done. Danny is an absolutely fantastic nail tech with a great range of services and very reasonable prices. Consistently high standards here, I’ve never been disappointed. 10/10.

   This was the worst lack lustre pedicures I’ve ever had. Don’t bother going here I paid 40 pound and had planned to have hands done but cancelled after the pedicure they charge extra for white tip so your choice is so limited in choice. Sterile unfriendly environment. I would never go back there

   Probably one of the most sterile unwelcoming businesses on the High St. Do not recommend. No engagement at all with customers. When one of them isn't with a customer the go put their feet up on the pedi seats. The nails were done to such a poor standard. Before Acrylic was applied I asked specifically to use a tiny amount to simply strengthen my nails. Excessive acrylic powder used. Only to then file it down. Nails left looking thick and chunky. When asked to file more the technician got the hump. Nails shaped inconsistently. I would not recommend.

   The nail tech did a wonderful job! I’m happy with the shape overall. He was thorough and worked on the nails carefully. I think there could be a bit better cleanup underneath two of my fingers on my right hand. A bit of the gel powder went underneath and there’s a bit of buildup there. Other than that, the service and the finished product is great. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because: 1. He delivered on what I requested. 2. He was thorough with shaping and painting. HOWEVER 1. The cleanup under two of my nails could’ve been better. 2. When I went to wash my hands in their sink, there were no towels readily available. When I opened the cupboard to grab a new one, the ones in there were crusty and stiff. In general I think some of the previous reviews have been a bit harsher than they needed to be. I chose this salon since it was the only one open on a Sunday in the surrounding area- which is a bonus if you can only get your nails done on a Sunday. I quickly looked at the reviews before going in and I had been expecting a passable job because of some of the comments that were recently left. However, from what I’ve experienced, they’ll get the job done, and it’ll be a good product in the end.

   My thing is attention to detail and they 'nail' it everytime (except for one time). The whole staff takes the time to make sure you leave happy with the results. Danny is my personal favourite, pure talent, he will make your acrylic full set look like it’s your nails and they just don’t break. Worth the money, all the way. 100% Recommend.
