   I have come to La Rose Nails twice now, and the experience has been interesting, to say the least. The first time I went, I made a booking, and waited about 10 minutes before being seen to, and I liked the pedicure that I got. However, second time visiting here, which was on Saturday, the delay in booking was absolutely unacceptable. I booked in for 10am and I showed up on time. There were people already waiting, and all the staff were busy with clients (I assume many of these were walk-ins, as they had just opened for the day). I told one of the staff members that I had an appointment at 10am, and was told to sit. 20 minutes passed before I asked when I would be seen to, and I was told to wait another 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, at around 10:40am, I finally got my shellac done, which I was very pleased with. Whilst I was getting my nails done, a lady walked in for an 11am appointment that she had booked for. She was told to wait 90 minutes between removal and application because she had requested a specific staff member. What is the point of having a booking system if people can’t have their nail appointment at their chosen time/duration?? Overall, their customer service/booking system isn’t great, but the work that they do is good and very much value for money. I think that they should either remove the booking system entirely (and scrap walk-ins) or be a walk-in only establishment.

   La Rose Nails is the only nail salon I’ve ever used ever since I started getting my nails professionally done in 2022. The technicians are brilliant, I’ve tried out many designs and they’ve always embraced my love of variety. The salon is also very comfortable and has a wonderful atmosphere.

   I recently visited La Rose Nails to get my acrylics done and I’m honestly so glad I found this place it’s an absolute gem! I showed the nail tech a picture and he truly worked his magic. The whole team are lovely and welcoming and super talented and passionate about what they do. I also had a pedicure and French tips and they were painted to millimetre precision and well worth the money. Highly recommend and will be coming back again!

   I go here as a budget option when I cheat on my regular nail girlie, and you get what you would expect. It is the best salon I’ve tried in the area with very reasonable prices. This time was the first time I was not 100% satisfied as the nails broke and the chrome started chipping same day.. I would’ve gone back if it weren’t for the fact that I went on holiday same day. I’d recommend going when theyre not busy as I felt my set got a bit rushed this time and that’s what resulted in the chipping of the chrome. Still 5 stars as I’ve been very happy the other 5 times I’ve been. Including the pink ones that definitely are 5/5 and kept really well for a very long time!

   Had been going to this nail shop for a while now as they have always had reasonable prices and were really good with designs. However, lately I feel the service has really gone down and that they really have just stopped caring about the quality of their nails. On one occasion, I asked for the following design and was assured that they would know how to do it. They did a horrible job with the design and the actual nails were very uneven and blocky. I went again and tried something more simple, putting it as a one off. This time I got just a white tip with chrome to keep it simple but the nails started chipping really quickly and coming off after just 2 weeks. When they started falling off I noticed a big green mark on my nail and had realised the nail was infected from where they put it on wrong. It looks really gross now and I’m incredibly disappointed. I will not be coming back here again.

   They’re good at nails and my nails last very well. But if I book an appointment I’m expected to be seen at my time and be done max 2 hours. It took me 4 hours!!!! They then see people who’ve arrived after you… please make it make sense. They’re extremely slow and provide a slow service but overall nails are done good. But service is like being at billings gate market and that’s a good comparison.

   Absolutely disgusting service if I could give 0 stars I would. Dirty and unhygienic place and staff who have no idea what they’re doing. Ridiculously expensive to get chunky nails and they do not give you the right colours or shape and use cheap materials I could’ve done better at home. The nails were fragile and broke off mid service and top of that the nails were dangerously sharp and cut me but and when tried to get this fixed I was blamed. I would rather have nails from primark a pound than use this place again never again.

   I initially asked for overlay as I wanted to keep my nails short - I was told that my nails weren’t long enough however I have never had a problem with overlay before. I was told acrylic would be best but he would still keep them nice and natural. However, every single nail is a different shape, they look like spades/shovels. The also are extremely thick and uncomfortable to have on. I have glue and gel polish left all over the tips of my fingers, and there’s is also some sort of sticky dirt that is on my left thumb. I would have complained whilst in the shop however it was packed (not sure why looking at my nails). I do not like to make a fuss however this is really bad.

   Me and my friend went there the first time after a friend recommended. We both been having nails for the past 2 years constantly, with no doubts these are the best nails ever! The staff is amazing and caring! Well done to them!
