Phoned the shop to order a chain for my saw and it was ready waiting by the till when I got there. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. An all round great shop. Highly recommended.
Top service, excellent array of useful products eg. Primer, Paint, range of paint brushes, cleaning products, coal scuttles, wood baskets, tools etc. Best bit is Madelina - shop staff, who is so helpful & knows everything about product thats right for you, she is delightful. Super shop, best one ive ever visited in the world- has everything practical for home or work. Car parking too!
Best old fashioned hardware shop for miles Love the place. You can buy single items instead of having to buy packs containing some items you don't need.
Sent two chain saw blades to sharpen, they mixed one of mine up with someone else's. It took me four weeks, 3 telephone calls and an extra postage cost to get my chainsaw back. I would strongly recommend against using this company
Recently purchased a Husqvarna chain saw from here and the service we received was brilliant. After having a couple of cheapo chain saws in the past we decided it was time to invest in a decent one.....and came here. Paul looked after us and basically gave us a lesson in chain saws which you certainly wouldn't get from a B&Q or from buying online. He was brilliant, patient and knowledgeable and a credit to the company. Would recommend this shop and their staff :)
I had a problem with a hedge trimmer purchased from Ramages, the machine broke down after less than 20 hrs. use, because of this problem I was told I needed to speak to a man called Stuart who is in charge. I left messages for Stuart to call me and also called in the shop on a number of occasions only told be told that he wasn't there. In the end I gave up on Ramages and will now probably pursue things through the small claims court. Ramages does not know the meaning of the words customer support and customer care.
