   I’ve been here a few times for a face wax, and the staff have always done a really good job and it’s been pretty affordable. Unfortunately, it lost a few stars today. The woman who did my wax did a really good job. However, I was quoted £25. That is what I have paid previously. There was some hushed conversation about the cost, then the manager put the amount through. Suddenly, it was £35. That’s quite the price jump. It was also a bit strange seeing staff walking around in their bare feet. Whatever makes them comfortable though, I guess? Won’t be going back again, as that’s way too expensive for me.

   I had my hair coloured as my hair was in a bad way from excessive colouring/hilighting over the years and was left with an orange, brassy colour. I wanted to go one colour so had a quick consultation with Maahi and an hour later my hair looked amazing. He also gave a lovely, relaxing head massage. Great customer service.

   My partner and I visited the Barkingside branch as we had pre booked our appointments for a full back wax (for my husband) and manicure and pedicure for myself. The lady that did my nails (fingers and toes) said to me do you want a gel polish to which I replied yes. All she did was file my fingernails and toenails and painted them, cut the cuticles on my fingernails and added oil at the end to both my fingernails and toenails. At no point was there a wash or soak of my hands or feet, any hard skin removed from my feet, massage or creams applied. This is no way a proper or professional manicure or pedicure and I have had many so I know what to expect. My husbands back was still so hairy when we got home, I have had to go and buy wax strips and take off with said strips and a razor which the alleged beautician failed to do. I questioned the extortionate price at the end as it’s not what I was quoted when I booked via Treatwell - neither of us received the services that we paid for. I am utterly disgusted. The managers attitude is terrible and does not care at all about ripping people off. Giving a one star as I have to give something otherwise it would warrant a zero stars. Worst salon I’ve ever visited.

   Terrible experience!! avoid this salon at all costs! I went in for a wash, cut, and blow-dry, which was clearly advertised as £35, but they overcharged me, charging £60 just for adding layers, with no clear pricing. My mum was also overcharged, bringing our total to £115, even though their sign said otherwise. The haircut itself was awful, uneven, choppy, and nothing like what I asked for. The “stylist”was rough while washing my hair, getting water all over my ears and face, and didn’t even bother to use heat protection before blow drying. My mum was left waiting for over half an hour with wet hair while she finished my hair, which is completely unprofessional. After leaving and seeing the haircut properly, I realized how badly done it was. When I went back to ask for a refund due to the poor service and overcharging, the staff were careless and dismissive, speaking to me as if I was blind and couldn’t see how badly my hair had been cut. She carelessly refused to give my refund back and clearly doesn’t care about consumer rights. This place is dishonest, unprofessional, and does not care about customer service.

   This women took my 600 and knocked my 2 treatments Saif I had them she is a liar and really bad customer service would not recommend this salon to anyone staff are nice they also have no controlling over their boss and her lies she needs to go on a customer service course

   I was ripped of today at Nainas salon Barkingside, haircut and wash £40 for me and same for my daughters, specifically asked no blow dry to save money… so when the hairdresser see my reaction she explained that the prices gone up. Now checking on line and the price is still £25 like 6month ago when last I been there. That is so disgusting I can’t believe people can steel money like that.. if I could I would give 0 stars.

   The manageress in Barkingside is the rudest person with a loud mouth. I Will never go back in there again. There are plenty beauticians in Barkingside High Road a lot cheaper and better service. She needs to go on a course to learn people/customer skills as she has absolutely none.

   This is my second time visiting for a full body wax completed by Rita. Rita was very lovely and friendly and maintained a good conversation whilst doing my wax and I was very happy with the end results. The only thing that I was not happy with this on this visit was the misinformation about prices as I enquired two days earlier and was told full body wax is £30. However, once I completed my wax, I was told by management that it is now £35 and she is not sure why I was told it is £30. As this was no fault of mine, I thought management would be a little apologetic and out of professionalism and as a kind gesture would have allowed me to pay £30, however this was not the case. I think all staff should be trained about prices to avoid this happening in future.
