   Utterly disappointed, booked myself a wax and got told it would be £50 over the phone. Came in at the time I had booked for, was then told to wait 10-15 minutes which I didn’t mind. I then got my service done a whole hour later. Kept doing other clients even though they had came after me. Sheets weren’t changed for when I went in, had wax all over them. Did my wax terrible for starters, left a lot of patches on me and made me feel very uncomfortable during the service. Left the door open so anyone that comes into the salon could see me naked. Left me crying mid way through the appointment as she was very rough with me and wouldn’t listen to what I’d say. Kept walking out mid service to check other clients or answer the phone and was on the phone to people while doing my wax. She finally did my face threading and was very rough AGAIN. Kept threading my eyelashes off and kept laughing at me, left patches of hair on my face the total came up to £55 and I paid the full amount even though half the service wasn’t done properly. She was also speaking very badly about a client who had left after her appointment. This place is VERY understaffed and needs to hire people that can do a service properly, utterly disappointed and will not be coming back here in the future. Please don’t waste your money here as they will just disappoint you. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

   I recently visited HKR for a microdermabrasion facial after being frequently recommended the service by Amandeep during my regular eyebrow threading appointments. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I had an appointment booked for 1 PM, but upon arrival, I was made to wait for 20 minutes as the beautician was still attending to another client. While minor delays are understandable, the overall service that followed was disappointing. During the facial, instead of using the standard diamond-tip microdermabrasion tool for exfoliation, the beautician used a conventional scrub with excessive pressure, making the experience quite uncomfortable. When I inquired about the microdermabrasion, I was told it would be done at the end of the facial, which is not the usual practice. At that point, I decided to opt out of it and requested a deep cleansing treatment instead. Another concerning aspect was the lack of a proper facial massage. Typically, after exfoliation, a soothing massage with a massage cream is expected. However, Amandeep skipped this step and directly applied a mask. She then left the room for a long period, during which I could hear her engaged in a conversation with another customer regarding a service issue. When she finally returned, she removed the mask, applied toner and moisturizer in under two minutes and said it’s done. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and rushed, lacking the relaxation and care expected from a facial treatment. My skin after the treatment felt dull and damaged which is contrary to usual. I hope the salon takes customer feedback seriously and improves the quality and professionalism of its services.

   I recently visited HKR and had an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, with a clean, stylish setup that immediately put me at ease. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and clearly skilled in their work. I got haircut, facial and the results were fantastic—exactly what I wanted! They took the time to listen to my preferences and offered helpful suggestions to get the best results. I highly recommend HKR for anyone looking for top beauty services!

   Terrible service, the lady didn’t know how to shape the eyebrows, she messed mine big time and charged me £5 just for tidying. I would not recommend it at all. Never going there again.

   I made a call to this company the woman who I spoke to was absolutely rude refused my custom because I’m transitioning from male to female no explanation put the phone down however I understand many beauticians don’t treat clients but we are human we are paying customers this review is about taking a stand against discrimination

   One the Worst experience of my life. The service was very bad. Have no customer service skills. No hair cutting experience, hair was treated really rough. I wanted a certain hair and style, she did not listen to what I wanted and instead messed up my hair, tried to fix but did not do a good job. Way over priced. I was over charged for a very poor job, They are very sly, entered wrong amount on the card machine, which I paid for without checking my mistake and when I asked and requested my money back they refused to give it back knowing they are at fault. I wonder if they are even qualified they need to be reported. Extremely disappointed
