Not a hotel or holiday stop off. Is used to house ppl moving to the UK long term. Ppl who don't really care about the surroundings or others.
A horrible experience from start to finish. Fully paid on Expedia a month ahead of time and confirmation email said that a code for the lockbox would be provided on the day of check in. 7pm rolls around and still nothing. We try calling, but no answer. We message through Expedia and send an email, and received a ratings asking for a £200 deposit to be transferred to a random bank account. We are traveling from the US so asked if other payment methods were available - no response. We tried calling again and send two more emails, but no response. We ended up having to get a different hotel so that our 4 young kids could get some much needed sleep. A truly horrible experience and not what we were looking for a couple of days prior to Christmas. Avoid at all costs so that you don't have the same experience that we did.
We booked and paid for a two night stay a month ahead of arriving. We hadn't received any communication about check in procedures so at 7pm on our arrival day, I tried calling the number listed. No answer... I then sent a message through Expedia as well as an email. I received a reply letting me know that I had to send £200 to a random account as a deposit. I have an American bank account (takes 48-72 hours for the transfer) as we are currently traveling, so asked if they accepted any other form of payment, like Venmo or a credit card in person like you would get at any other place in the world. No response. I sent two more emails and called three more times whilst my four kids got restless in our car after our journey north from London. We ended up going to a different hotel so that we could get some much needed sleep. Please do not visit this place, as there is a good chance you will experience the same challenges that we did, which is not what you need when you are traveling for the holidays.
A wonderful place to live. Just keep the noise down! I serious, it's a nice quite, low crime family environment that does not need muppets or walies. Be warned we will be watching you!
