Nikki does a wonderful job and we can leave our cats with peace of mind knowing the care and attention Nikki will give them. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!
I left my dog for the first time overnight and she came back so unhappy like never before. When we were on the phone with that old man in change he was really rude to us. On top of that, when we picked up our dog the following day, she growled to this man and she never growled to anybody in 7 years. On the way back, this man kicked really hard his own dog because he was on the man's way. NEVER AGAIN. BEAWARE
We really like this kennels, very friendly and our dog is happy to go in, in fact she gets quite excited when we get close to the place! Thanks for the great service!
My 2 elderley cats have spent 3 weeks with Alan & Alison first time in a cattery for both. I picked them up today and they were fine.. Got home & back into their routine thank you for looking after them both I’m truly grateful X
Please do not allow your pets to stay here. We wish someone had warned us. Our pup (only 6 1/2 months old) went in a healthy, happy, thriving pup. Our fur baby deserved care and love yet he came out skin & bone, filthy, smelly and sad. He lost so much weight in the 2 weeks he was in (even though we sent him with his own food and was told he was eating everything), he lost all of his muscle and was covered in a smelly waxy grime on return to us. We are truly and utterly heartbroken. You put your trust into these people to look after your fur babies. It looks like he was barely fed and never walked. We called several times to check he was ok only to be told that he was fine, eating everything and no problem at all - all lies. We asked for pictures but they were never forthcoming, all makes sense now. They also make you pay in full before you see the condition of your pet.
Always very welcoming our cats don't seem distressed in any way on their arrival or departure. Basic amenities compared to some maybe but the facilities are what I expect. Good value accommodation.
My Black Labrador Rocco has been coming to Reed House Farm since he was a puppy, (he is nearly 9 now) and I can't recommend Alan and Allison enough. He has always been happy to go and I can tell he is always well looked after when I go to pick him up. You can tell that they really care for the animals they look after. I wouldn't take him anywhere else and would definitely recommend if you are looking for a kennel.

Both my cat and now my dog stay at Reed House. We have used Reed House for our cat for 6 years. Prior to using Reed House we had tried two other kennels and it was clear when picking our cat up that he was distressed and upset. From the first time at Reed House you could tell the difference. When we picked up he was relaxed and calm When we got him home he just carried on like he had never been away. When we got our puppy he was quite nervous. Reed House we’re really good at gently getting him used to staying in kennels. Now he is much more settled and relaxed when we take him. Reed House is run by lovely people who really care about and know animals. I have recommended them to a number of my friends with pet and all have said how happy there pets were after staying.
