Ordered a bulk bag of compost from Dandy’s and couldn’t be happier! The compost was top quality—rich, moist, and perfect for the garden. Delivery was prompt, and the driver went above and beyond to help position the bag exactly where we needed it. Excellent service and fantastic products all round. Went here 23 rd Aug 2025, Guy served us and was as patient as a saint, explained the numerous deals to us and what was cost effective, he gave us some excellent advice, and honestly we were so impressed by his happy demeanor that we would buy more items from this place. Did get a couple of tons of gravel for the side and front of the house. Definitely recommend this place. The place has a coffee machine and a sandwich vending machine inside there is also plenty of car parking spots aswell as one disabled parking slot. Went today, 30 Aug 2025, and Jordan helped, was full of knowledge and brought some gravel glue.
Beautiful topsoil spreads well done and perfect to sew new lawn seed. 40 bags delivered as close to property as possible and and good weight to shoulder in one by one delighted.
I bought 10x lawn in a bag which cost over £100. This was to cover patches and I had noticed after a few weeks no grass was coming through. Then, I read some reviews and realized I had been given the wrong products and duped. What I received (like other reviewers): Old reused soil from what seemed like a waste site Pottery bits Glass bits Abundance of small and large rocks Bits of plastic bags Bits of cloth NO SEEDS The above is unsafe for my kids to be on the lawn as they're all under the age of 4 until I've cleaned up all the mess. I raised this with the sales team and was offered a 30% refund. I then asked for a 100% refund as I didn't get what I ordered. Instead, I got some old soil full of impurities and no seeds. So, even though I did get a full refund and a box of seeds, it's actually cost me more in money and time overall. Time - I now have to go through all my lawn and physically remove all impurities. Also, it's now the middle of July so I will be halfway into summer still resolving the patches which should have been growing grass by now, had I got the correct products. Cost - I have to buy more topsoil to sow the seeds in. This was a very poor customer journey and service provided without taking into account the additional time and cost for myself. I would not recommend anyone to shop at Dandy based on my poor and woeful experience. I certainly will not be doing so in the future. **Update 7.3.25** I'm extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the response from Dandy's. It's been seven months since I left an accurate review, and they only recently got back to me. Despite reaching out to them to restore confidence, they said the full refund for a product that contained numerous impurities was enough. They failed to consider my time and effort spent clearing the mess, as well as the additional money I had to spend on extra topsoil. This is very unprofessional and makes me question where they source their soil from, especially given their high prices.
Great experience. Saved with their 20%off offer so was a bargain comparing to other suppliers. I have contacted customer service twice about few changes and got replies in few hours. Good tracking of a driver. Came on time. Very helpful. Turf looks healthy. Transformed my garden. Thanks

Just received 2 tonnes of handy bag top soil. the bags were nice, clean and easy to manage. One of the few places that offer this. Had major issues with the courier service but dandy's addressed that immediately. Thanks again, great service and communication!
