“We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen. The quality is brilliant and it looks stunning. The whole process was made easy because the staff were very knowledgeable and supportive and were always available to discuss changes etc. Finance is available too if needed. They don't provide a fitting service but liased with our joiners when needed. I would and have highly recommended MKM Chester for kitchens. Definitely 5 stars!!!!”

“I have been going in here almost since the day they opened. The present manager Mike has done a great job assembling an excellent team. Along with Phil, Jess, James, Gemma and oldie but not mouldy John they give all the customers great friendly service, always with a smile and time for a quick bit of personal chat. It is a pleasure to buy from there, they go out of their way to help and make sure we trades have what we need to do the job. Exchanges and refunds are always smooth and hassle free.. Would all retail stores be so professional and helpful with a personal touch, life would be better. They're a shining example of how it should be done. 5 stars guys!”

“Newish store.. As a delivery driver I like a quick look at what's in store (apart from free coffee) they've got some great ideas in their showroom, fab bathroom cabinets / mirrors. Nice internal doors too. Delivered here Thursday 1st July. Only place in my memory where one of the office / managers came onto the yard and actually helped by jumping on the forks. “Charlies has a wide selection of clothing, tools and household items plus a gardening area and more.... Often with top brands and corresponding quality. I pop in from time to time to get a 20kg bag of bird seed, usually the cheapest in the area. Whilst I am there, I do also like to have a good look around at the clothing, footwear etc. They are also great for things like Stihl gardening equipment and spare parts too, with reasonable prices and no delivery costs to the store. Always well worth a look!”

“It's Homebase, but not as we know it, as this is Homebase on the ground floor of a former John Lewis store, and little has been changed to the lighting or floors, so for DIY it feels quite posh! The product range is good and prices generally competitive. It's also usually really quiet and the staff are eager to help, so that's a positive too!”
