   I had some ply cut by a chap on the wood cutting station. I didn’t get his name. I’d say mid 20’s. Brown hair just above shoulders I think. The guy gave above and beyond customer service. He was due to finish and there was a que. forming. He didn’t get flustered. He dealt with us all politely and professionally. Management needs to consider him for a promotion. Or just an employee of the month. I really appreciated getting wood cutting for a weekend project so late in the day. Top man

   This review is for bq as a company not solely chester if i could leave no stars i would ,they are a fraudlent company and should be shut down ,i paid £200 for a christmas tree 3 weeks ago it never arrived so i tried to cancel order an get a refund ,there customer service is based in cape town south africa they are absoultely useless an say they cant do anything ,ive called them at least 10 times an am getting nowhere , im now having to resort to getting my money back through my bank ,please be warned do not order anything online with these fraudsters unless you want to lose your hard earned money !!!

   First visit, car park was quiet (it was a Friday afternoon), store is massive and was very quiet. Got the items we after - it helped that wa had checked online first and even advised us of the aisle number the items were located.

   Visited today a lovely gentleman helped me cutting some wood for shelves and then another lovely gentleman helped me get my Christmas tree in my car. Couldn’t ask for better service. I don’t catch their names but thank you. You are an asset to the store

   Great service from Fiona on customer services, checked items were in stock, agreed delivery day and even checked goods (worktops) for any damage. Steve on woodcutting service understood our requirements and was helpful. Delivered on day agreed by two men in large van, 3 of the 5 pieces clearly badly damaged and rejected, to be returned to store. Phone call to store, spoke to Harrison (very helpful) agreed that damaged goods to be recut and redelivered. Recut items delivered 3 days later by lone driver in small van, driver helpful and careful with delivery.

   B&Q Chester, its Massive!!! I thought Erdington, Birmingham was big but this is way way bigger. I only went for some boarding and to take advantage of the cutting service. The young man operating the saw was extremely helpful, even checking my drawing and questioning my sizes as they didn't look right for the scale. I'm so glad he did as I had a dyslexic moment and transposed my numbers, good job I had my notes and thank you for his diligence. Got home and my cut wood fitted perfectly. THANK YOU Saw Cutter Operator, I should have asked for your name.

   This morning I had my best ever experience in visiting b and q. I was looking around the shelves searching for a product to sort out an issue with Diy I had at home and an employee who has the name Sandra on her uniform asked if she could help at all. I had heard her helping another customer earlier. This lady really could not do enough to help me and was both professional and at the same time very respectful. Thank you so much you are a credit to the company you work and whilst I know you said it is a new job for you there I must say you made my day very special and inspired me to carry on shopping at b and q. You are a star thank you

   Tried to get wood cut . Told saw operator on lunch waited in store for 40 min then told he had gone home 4 of us waiting for wood to be cut Go to Warrington store far more helpful wouldn't recommend Chester to anyone
