“Just after Christmas I went in to look at ottoman beds and to get prices etc. After a discussion with Julie I said I would return in a few months when finances allowed. She wrote down names of beds, mattresses with prices etc. Very friendly and helpful. Around 3 weeks ago I returned and ordered a side opening ottoman bed with mattress and headboard. It was delivered on time, set up etc and I have been very pleased with it, so much so that when I decided I needed a wardrobe I returned to Good Knights. After spending a considerable amount of time deciding on with wardrobe to buy, I ordered one. Keith then phoned the suppliers, but could not get hold of them. However he phoned me later to say they could order one for me which they did. Delivery time was 2-4 weeks but again I received a call to say they could deliver on the Fri ( it was ordered on the previous Sat) It arrived within the one hour timeslot as promised. If I need any other bedroom furniture in the future i would return. Good old fashioned customer service and they stick to delivery times. Excellent.”

“We were just looking different shops for the bed and mattress for our spare bedroom. We went in Dreams and Michele greeted us very kindly offering drinks and introduced different types of mattresses and base units of bed and showed us where they are. We were so happy with her knowledgeable introduction so we bought whole set of bed frame, mattress,headboard and pillows. We highly recommend!”

“Had the best service from Emma, popped in to have a look at desks and chairs, really friendly and knowledgeable. I needed 3 desks in a hurry and they didn't disappoint. They were delivered and put together by 2 of the nicest guys. Very professional, if they haven't got what you are looking for I would be surprised. Along with Phil, Jess, James, Gemma and oldie but not mouldy John they give all the customers great friendly service, always with a smile and time for a quick bit of personal chat. “Ordered a bed from Bensons for Beds. Easy to order online and the delivery drivers - Harris and Vetales were great. They phoned the day before with estimated delivery time and called twice on the actual delivery day to advise of delivery time. Both extremely courteous and polite and even took the bed upstairs when asked. Fantastic service - thank you both.”

“Had an induction hob and extractor fan installed. Very helpful throughout. Advised on what we needed and ensured it was delivered and installed quickly. The induction hob didn't work (due to an issue with our electricity supply - our mistake). Swapped out for one that works off a normal plug with no hassle / extra cost. Parts cheaper than could be found online. Highly recommend.”

“What a lovely shop with lovely, stylish things and good value too. Everything is well made and just that bit different from anywhere else. Real sense of excitement when going in to look around and some great ideas. The staff are so friendly and couldn't be more helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Range includes furniture, shelving, glassware and etc. Give it try next time you are shopping in Chester.”

The whole process was made easy because the staff were very knowledgeable and supportive and were always available to discuss changes etc. Finance is available too if needed. They don't provide a fitting service but liased with our joiners when needed. I would and have highly recommended MKM Chester for kitchens. Definitely 5 stars!!!!”

“Inspired provided an excellent service on a bathroom. This included changing the layout, with all the unseen drainage changes, to make it much more practical so as to have a much larger shower. The choice of, and quality of the materials, is excellent. The installation was excellent - the main workman who did some heavy work also had a real eye for detail - every thing was done to perfection. It was also a pleasure to have him around and not causing any unnecessary disruption. The work was done to budget and, any unforeseen beneficial work, was done to achieve the final result such that every part of a millimetre stands up to close inspection. I have no hesitation in saying the service provided by all and the final result were excellent. I didn’t give immediate feedback as it is possible that sometimes things can come to light later as to how things might have been done differently. I have had no such issues or thoughts - I’m very pleased to fully recommend Inspired based on my experience - things could not have been done better. Superb.”

“Charlies has a wide selection of clothing, tools and household items plus a gardening area and more.... Often with top brands and corresponding quality. I pop in from time to time to get a 20kg bag of bird seed, usually the cheapest in the area. Whilst I am there, I do also like to have a good look around at the clothing, footwear etc. They are also great for things like Stihl gardening equipment and spare parts too, with reasonable prices and no delivery costs to the store. Always well worth a look!”

“Not the biggest car park though can park in front of boots. A great place to shop with brilliant prices, friendly staff and easy to walk around. Just try to go and non peak times as can get quite busy and the queues can be quite long.”

“Visited furniture village Chester after a lack lustre visit to Stokers and were met by Steve who after asking us what we were looking for steered us to a beautiful corner suit that was just what we were looking for in terms of size, configuration and colour etc. didn’t rush us, made us a brew and left us to discuss privately for a while.
