The staff member was really helpful giving advice with a lock replacement which I hadn't ordered beforehand. He gave me the reassurance that the item could be returned if it didn't fit too. The new lock fitted perfectly, thank you.
Great business, service excellent, ample parking
Just a big thankyou to the giys at screwfix chester - in the aftermath of Storm Daragh last Sunday; They went above and beyond sorting me out for fencing materials - and the guy who served me was so helpful with knowledge and thanks again.

Returned a product (box of 10 lightbulbs) and start getting challenged over wether they’ve been installed and taken out, starts to refuse saying can’t return if they’ve been installed. He was the first one to open them, I hadn’t even opened, bought 4 packs and only needed 3 on the job. Challenging integrity is not a good way to do business, only ever go here as a last resort as they are to expensive, will avoid even more now.
Great range, helpful staff and clean
Used to be my go-to store, staff are excellent and they have a great stock and range of items. Toolstation is now obliterating them on pricing and I've gone from a roughly 50:50 split down to maybe spending £10pm with them. When your spend thousands a year a 10% pricing benefit makes a big difference. Lose the digital gimmicks and peddling the app and focus on your core business of selling great products and great prices.
Unfortunately they have now decided to go all digital, no more catalogues to flick through, it's all done on a tablet and sent to the till, Now I can't flick through the book and add more items to my shopping list, Very disappointed Screwfix ☹️
