“Habufa – Jardin Starburst Oak Dining Table plus 6 Armin Dining Chairs, Cognac I don’t normally write reviews however, in this instance, both the Manufacturer and the Retailer are more than worthy of mention. We had previously identified the Habufa range of furniture as being well suited for our needs. The challenge was to find a Retailer selling it at an acceptable price. After doing a lot of research, including viewing examples of the Habufa range in the showrooms of a well-known High Street Store, we came across the Against the Grain (ATG) Website which was selling the Habufa range at an acceptable price. Here, our natural instincts to avoid buying from on-line retailers kicked in. So, what to do? Firstly, we read all their reviews on Google and Trust Pilot which, on the whole, were positive. Secondly, we spoke at length with Marcus at ATG and found his knowledge and advice very helpful which gave us the confidence to go ahead with the order. The lead times were good, pricing was very competitive and we were kept informed throughout the process, leading up to delivery. The furniture came very securely packed and the quality is excellent. Clear instructions were provided for the assembly of the chairs and the table and for increasing the protection of the oak table with additional lacquer. Our thanks to both Marcus and Dan, the Office Manager, for their attention to detail and support. We would certainly buy again from you.”

“Inspired provided an excellent service on a bathroom. This included changing the layout, with all the unseen drainage changes, to make it much more practical so as to have a much larger shower. The choice of, and quality of the materials, is excellent. The installation was excellent - the main workman who did some heavy work also had a real eye for detail - every thing was done to perfection. It was also a pleasure to have him around and not causing any unnecessary disruption. The work was done to budget and, any unforeseen beneficial work, was done to achieve the final result such that every part of a millimetre stands up to close inspection. I have no hesitation in saying the service provided by all and the final result were excellent. I didn’t give immediate feedback as it is possible that sometimes things can come to light later as to how things might have been done differently. I have had no such issues or thoughts - I’m very pleased to fully recommend Inspired based on my experience - things could not have been done better. Superb.”

“Charlies has a wide selection of clothing, tools and household items plus a gardening area and more.... Often with top brands and corresponding quality. I pop in from time to time to get a 20kg bag of bird seed, usually the cheapest in the area. Whilst I am there, I do also like to have a good look around at the clothing, footwear etc. They are also great for things like Stihl gardening equipment and spare parts too, with reasonable prices and no delivery costs to the store. Always well worth a look!”

“Visited furniture village Chester after a lack lustre visit to Stokers and were met by Steve who after asking us what we were looking for steered us to a beautiful corner suit that was just what we were looking for in terms of size, configuration and colour etc. didn’t rush us, made us a brew and left us to discuss privately for a while. No pressure tactics. Came away happy with our purchase and customer service from Steve and manager Will. Struck up a great deal.Suite delivered before chrimbo. Looks great. Thanks guys. “Am absolutely delighted with the service I received by Danny at Wren in Chester. He really listened to what was needed and designed a perfect, stylish kitchen, maximising storage. He gave lots of support as the kitchen is not in this area, finding an excellent local fitter. The whole process was seamless as a result of Danny and the Chester’s teams’ diligence. The quality of the kitchen is excellent and the cost was about a third less than competitors. I highly recommend Wren Chester.”

“It's Homebase, but not as we know it, as this is Homebase on the ground floor of a former John Lewis store, and little has been changed to the lighting or floors, so for DIY it feels quite posh! The product range is good and prices generally competitive. It's also usually really quiet and the staff are eager to help, so that's a positive too!”
