We visited today and the store has a amazing selection of furniture on display. Although we did not make a purchase we have to say a special thank you to Andrew who went out of his way to try and help choose a certain material for a sofa we wanted . His customer service was excellent and we will certainly return to Stokers as there was no pressure to buy and their selection is quality furniture.
Love this store. It’s got beautiful furniture in every conceivable style, superbly displayed. Good quality too. Helpful friendly staff. Delivery guys are careful too. Just go and buy something!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Myself and my partner visited the Chester branch later in the afternoon with the intent to purchase a quality sofa. We arrived at the showroom and when we entered we both got the impression that no one worked in there. We spent a good 20 minutes looking at sofas and found one priced at £1500 that we liked. Not one person said hello and no one even acknowledged we even existed. We waited approximately another 20 minutes and saw sales staff walking around or even just sitting and again no one approached us. We thought give them the benefit of the doubt and look upstairs. Same story, we were spoken to when we began to leave. I explained we wanted to purchase a sofa downstairs with a response of, I’m upstairs. Downstairs staff will sort that. So off we went back downstairs, waited for another 15 minutes next to the sofa we wanted. I made a point of being visible to the sales staff and much to our expectations we were ignored. Very disappointing. As an owner of a motor vehicle dealership (a relatively large one at that) I can say, if that were my sales staff they wouldn’t have a job in the morning. The loss of any sale should matter, not matter the value. We crossed the road to Oakland, over £2K later we left happy with a lovely new sofa and dealt with some genuinely brilliant staff.

I had a really great experience in store, the lady who served us was really helpful. We left a deposit on a sofa as we’d travelled nearly 2 hours and wanted to check the sizing in our lounge. We’d advised the lady we would call up the next day and place the order and it’s now been a week and every time we call the store the team say ‘I will get her to call you back’ we can’t even order with anyone else as she put our discount on Still, a week later we still can’t order. Can someone please call us back!?
Fabulous quality sofas, we ordered 3 in June and they arrived in September. As soon as the sofas arrived I noticed a small hole in the arm on one. Stokers were brilliant, they apologised, arranged for the manufacturer to send a replacement arm which a specialist then came out to fit. We couldn’t be happier with service in the shop and the after sales service and the sofas are beautiful, comfy and fabulous quality.
From start to finish the whole shopping buying and delivery experience has been a pleasure. Furniture came quicker than the expected delivery date. Fantastic quality very happy with our purchase. Delivery team Lee and Matt were very professional had everything set up very quickly and tidily.
