I took my dog in because he was constantly licking his paw. Seemed to be a skin irritation. His claws were trimmed despite having a groom prior so I didn’t think it was his nail, the trimming resulted in cutting it to close and cutting my dogs quick and it would not stop bleeding, a nurse had to also come it’s to stop it. I know it was an accident but the root cause of the irritation wasn’t found and he came out with another problem. Was an awful experience to see him howling, trembling and crying in so much pain. This also incurred an extra charge for pain relief medication and the problem hasn’t been resolved

I registered my 2 kittens with GoVets earlier this year, and since then GoVets have been wonderful. From 1st check ups, injections and both Loki (male) & Freya (female) being neutered all the staff have been magnificent. The love and care the vets, nurses and staff have provided both my cats have been great. I was with a different vet for 14 years with my last pet and was nervous at 1st to switch, but due to location I decided to give GoVets a try and I'm glad I did.

Booked an appointment for this afternoon as my cat is very poorly. The receptionist called me a few minutes later saying the vet thought from my description of symptoms I should bring her in asap. They did loads of tests, explained everything they were doing and gave me the ongoing costs so I was fully informed going forward. Lovely vet and staff, friendly and the vet answered my questions. She's in the hospital for tonight at least and they promised to call me later with a progress report. She is diabetic and will need insulin jabs twice daily. On this visit I can highly recommend this vets.

Took my poorly kitten here on Monday, was told he would need blood tests so I had to leave him there. I got a call a few hours later saying he needed a blood transfusion or he was going to die. Yes as straight to the point as that. I asked how much a transfusion was to be told I would get a call back with a price. I was left for about 4 hours before they called back, I called them twice in between and still got no info. When they finally did call back it was unfortunately something I couldn’t afford. I went to collect my kitten and bring him home for the night. They strongly advised against this and wanted to put him to sleep there and then. I wasn’t offered any further tests to find the cause of his illness (which another vet said I should have been) , they had his details wrong on his medical history and I didn’t receive one bit of empathy, I felt uncomfortable around the vet. I just wanted to get my baby and get out of there, there was no way he was being put to sleep there. I unfortunately did have to have my kitten pts but I chose a different vets, one who was actually amazing, the complete opposite of go vets. I strongly advise anybody not to go here.

Took my rabbit here to be neutered. The vet was lovely, explained the risks and all. Just a slightly negative experience with the receptionist as she mixed up the date of my appointment but still gave 5⭐️ as Tofu was fine after the procedure (was nervous abt it since rabbits are extremely fragile and could die from this).

We had our little Havamalt puppy Max neutered here and it was a really good service. Had no issues at all, it looks different inside than it does on their website but still very clean. Staff are very efficient and we were seen quickly. No complaints :)

This is a fantastic place to take your pet to. I was very concerned about my cat needing dental treatment with general anaesthesia, and they put my mind at ease by carefully explaining me what’s best for her. Now I feel reassured as I know that she’s going to be in good hands. The premises are spotless clean and the vet was lovely, she took her time with Kittie and went patiently into every detail with us about vaccinations, diet and dental. We also had the privilege to meeting the owner, who is also a very caring and thoughtful individual. My cat is very nervous but she didn’t even meow during the whole time, which I take as her approval! We felt very lucky that we found the right place and also very grateful, so many thanks again.
