   My partner and I recently stayed for two nights in this beautifully located Bed and Breakfast. The hosts, Karen and George, are delightful, knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to ensure your comfort and needs are met. The room was magnificent. There was an assortment of amenities, including fresh milk and cold water in the fridge, and snacks waiting in the room for us. The bed was very comfortable. The area is very quiet and we got a great nights sleep. The room, as well as the rest of the property are immaculately clean. The breakfast was outstanding. So many options to choose from, and the Full English was delicious. It was delivered with such care and attention to detail. Overall 5 Stars! Would recommend to anyone, and will definitely visit again.

   What a little gem this place is, the owners couldn't be anymore helpful, the room was gorgeous with everything we needed and as for George's breakfast, WOW, I know my breakfasts and the full English was probably the best we've ever had, quality ingredients and cooked to perfection.    Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ploughcroft Cottage and highly recommend it. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need from hot drinks and shortbread to filtered water and milk in the fridge and chocolates. The bathroom was fully kitted out with soap, shampoo and conditioner. We loved the breakfast room and the extensive choices for breakfast was impressive and delicious. Karen and George are so welcoming and friendly and the view from the property is just beautiful. We enjoyed our morning walks along the nearby bridle way. Booking our stay via email from the USA was easy and Karen and George respond very quickly to all communication. Ploughcroft Cottage absolutely deserves 5*. Thank you Karen and George for your hospitality.

   We booked accommodation at Ploughcroft Cottage on the recommendation of our son and daughter-in-law. They had stayed earlier in the year, and were incredibly impressed with both the establishment and the owners. Having now stayed there ourselves, it's easy to see why. The cottage is warm and welcoming. Karen & George greeted us with tea and biscuits (including Gluten Free for my wife who is Coeliac), and we had a lovely chat with them both.They are great company. Our room was very comfortably furnished, with a large selection of hot drinks, biscuits and chocolates. Everything was finished to an exceptionally high standard, and the bed was both large and comfy. The en-suite bathroom had a great selection of toiletries, all great quality and was also finished beautifully. This was more luxury hotel standard, than simple B&B. Breakfast was both large and of exceptional quality - fresh fruit salad and juices, nice cereals, followed by an amazing full-English (full-Yorkshire?). Everything on the plate was clearly of excellent quality, and absolutely delicious. Having eaten everything which was available, I found myself unable to eat anything further for the rest of the day! There are great views from the cottage over Halifax, and the nearby pub/restaurant is lovely. Both are walkable, although you'd need to be pretty fit to do so. Needless to say I used the car. :) The stay represented excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back again, and shall look forward to further chats with Karen & George, a really lovely couple who have done their utmost to ensure a perfect stay.

   Truly amazing place ! Karen & George are very welcoming hosts, the cottage is a true gemstone it is sat on top of a hill overlooking Halifax. The breakfast beats hands down a luxury spa ! Thank you for a great stay and we will be looking forward to future visits xx

   Stopped at the lovely bed and breakfast in November with children .... Owners are warm welcoming and friendly. The b&b is spotless and decorated to a high standard. The bed I wanted to take home as you just melted into it and there was a great choice for breakfast ... Have already recommend to family and will definitely be checking availability when we come up again.
