Great experience.Claire cut my hair and blow dried it. Very happy with the result. She suggested what to do with my hair too, which I appreciated.
I had my hair cut here 2 months ago wet cut 2 inches taken off charged just under £40 i have shoulder length hair went there today one inch cut off £39.75 no blow dry over charged to what the price list said. Supercuts why are you so expensive now, definitely wont be going back again really very unhappy.
am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service my daughter and I received during our recent visit. We were initially told to come back in 20 minutes, but only 5 minutes later, a message was sent saying our appointment was ready. Unfortunately, I did not receive this message at the time due to poor signal while inside the shopping centre. When we returned, I explained clearly that my daughter was very anxious about getting her hair cut. She has previously been physically sick from the anxiety, and she only wanted a trim. Her hair was extremely long—past her bum—and I made it clear that the maximum amount to be cut should be 6 inches, and that it should be a healthy trim, nothing drastic. The stylist said she would prefer to take more off, but we compromised and agreed to no more than 6 inches. My daughter’s hair was washed and cut wet—but once the cut was finished, there was no blow-dry at all. Her hair was left dripping wet, and she walked out of the salon like that. For a £45 wet cut, I expected at least a rough dry. The most upsetting part is that once we got home and her hair dried, it was clear that more than 12 inches had been cut off—her hair is now halfway up her back. My daughter is devastated. This was the exact situation we were trying to avoid, and it has caused a huge amount of stress for her. I am incredibly disappointed in how this was handled. A professional stylist should have known that wet hair appears longer, and should have taken that into account, especially after our very clear instructions and explanations. I’ve attached photos so you can see how drastic the cut actually is. If the shop has cctv you will see they didnt hair dry it and how short it is.. As you can see in the photo, my daughter’s hair was past her bum. She was wearing that same grey tracksuit at the time. I asked her to stand up and clearly told the hairdresser to cut her hair to the top of the writing on her trousers, where the waistband begins. However, as shown in the after photo, her hair now sits halfway up her back — much shorter than what I asked for. I’m really upset, as this is not what we agreed upon. This isn’t about the money — it’s about how upset my daughter is. She feels like no one listened to what she wanted, and it’s left her feeling incredibly distressed and unwell. On top of that, to be charged £45 for a soaking, wet cut, dripping and to leave the shop in that state is honestly horrendous. "I would like to understand how you or your team consider this acceptable. From my perspective, it clearly falls short of reasonable standards.
I used this salon before and a lovely lady cut my hair. i used them this past week and the other lady has ruined my hair. she has cut it so short. and it just looks a mess. i paid £40 for my hair to be ruined. the front part is so short i can't even wear my hair down. she used paper towels to dry my hair. she was also rough with my hair. i just read through the other reviews. and i agree with them. the service was appalling. she has just chopped away and ruined my hair. i regret paying this women. i could have done a better job at home myself. she just kept cutting and cutting. and wouldn't let me speak. she just kept saying i need to make it even. and taking it shorter and shorter. now i just have a weird haircut. i want something done to fix my hair. and i definitely do not want the same person to cut my hair. she has the worst attitude iv ever seen in a hairdresser. i wish i didn't pay. but it's not even about the money. what am i supposed to do about my hair?
I was very pleased with the cut and blow dry. My concerns relate to the lack of information re pricing. I have short hair and was not expecting to pay just over £40…as a Super Cut is priced from £29 both online and in the shop with no further info. It is quite disconcerting. I used to find Supercuts a cheaper option but not the case anymore…
Depends very much on the person providing the service as everywhere I suppose. first time I had a lovely experience, nice chat great cut and even better price however second time around I got a grumpy lady that started of with she wasn’t sure if my request was possible since my hair was too short which is fair enough. I then got an aggressive wash and thereafter she proceeded to charge me for long hair and didn’t even dry my hair this in the middle of winter. Very disappointed. Now I will be looking for a new hair dresser! I don’t recommend going here, but if you do, good luck with the person you get.
The lady who cut mine and my daughters hair was excellent . What I found disgusting was that this lady has to do Sundays all by herself while managing the booking system and even does colour . She looked absolutely knackered . I felt so bad for her as she had another 7 ppl to do . Also the prices have gone up massively and for what Supercuts offers the prices are a joke . Never visiting again .
The staff in Sutton are absolutely lovely and I am so pleased with my haircut. I have to say the experience was somewhat blighted by the fact it was absolutely freezing in there. Those poor girls have to work in those conditions all day. I have never been so cold whilst having a haircut before
I had not been to this salon for a while and decided i would go back. The staff remembered me straight away and made me feel so welcome. They did a fantastic job of my hair and I definitely will be coming back as felt so valued.
