Absolutely no continuity whatsoever, repeat medication half of which are not on the NHS app do can't order have to go in, then get the dragon's on reception saying you need a review despite just having one, doctors keep making referrals to hospital but never discussed the reasons why with you and your notes not updated, so called specialist nurse said I'm too complicated, cancelled repeat diabetic medication without discussion or suggestions on alternative overall shocking service too big, too many doctors with different outcomes, certainly looking to move...

Staff are always very pleasant and helpful and willing to go extra mile to help. Never had a problem getting appointments and always receive reminders via text messages. No problem with parking and staff in pharmacy are very helpful too.

Very helpful staff. We moved in Rotherham from Sheffield and I can tell you it's far better GP than any in Sheffield. Reception is always available to book an appointment and you don't have to wai forever to see a doctor.

On Friday 4th October 24 my Mum had a appointment at St Anne's Surgery, Doncaster Gate Health Village, Rotherham. My Mum is elderly, disabled, has lung cancer, COPD, respiratory problems, mobility problems and requires support when mobilising i.e., walking stick. Due to lung damage & breathlessness my mum requires house to house transport & if family are at work she will use a taxi service to get her to appointments. On the 04/10/24 a taxi had taken my Mum to the Doctors for her appointment at the surgery. Due to mums mobility being slow, the nurse would not see mum to perform the bloods, as she marked her as late for the appointment despite mum advising that she is slow on her legs & the cost of the taxi. Following this Mum required a further taxi to take her home, and she realised she had left her mobile phone at home, therefore kindly asked the Doctors receptionist if they would kindly phone her a taxi, the receptionist refused. The receptionist responded by saying they are not allowed to phone taxis and told my Mum she will have to walk into town to a phone box. Mum explained her health problems and mobility but the receptionist refused. Mum tried her best to get into town but due to her breathlessness was in the verge of collapsing. Is this the care we afford our elderly, is this the actions of a dedicated team as they state on their website, where is basic care, compassion, and meeting the needs of the patients?

Staff here have always gone above & beyond. Never had a problem. Receptionists are always helpful. Don't know why people leave negative reviews. We need to understand surgeries these days have 3x more patients than they did before so sometimes will struggle to get people in on the same day. Plus you will always get them patients that will book appointments for the most unnecessary thing which inevitably takes up slots someone else could have with a more serious problem.

Just last week I waited until midday before I phoned to arrange to see about getting my ears syringed within the next month. There was no waiting time on the call the reception lady was extremely helpful & thanks to another patient cancelling I was offered the appointment for 2pm. I had my treatment which has worked & thankyou to people who do cancel unwanted appointments. It works & it definitely helped me. So thankyou St Ann's medical centre very much

I arranged a visit for children in the gp, between visits there was over an hour difference. The doctor, after examining my son, immediately examined my daughter so that I would not have to wait another hour with the sick children. He showed a lot of patience in examining my daughter, as she did not want to cooperate.

If I could give 0 starts I would do. Worst practice I have ever been a patient of since I moved to UK. It’s a miracle to get an appointment and if you do you might end up waiting an hour past your appointment time because receptionist forgot to check you in. Reception staff is rude to the patients. Majority of cases are referred to A&E rather than giving treatment in surgery. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone.

My wife cannot get to see a GP regarding a lump that she and I are really concerned about, instead she has a phone appointment! Please could someone explain how not even seeing the problem can you diagnose what the problem is?

I see so much negativity about this practice so just wanted to share my positive experiences. I have always been seen or at least got to speak to a healthcare professional when in need. Yes there is a wait for a routine GP appointment but that the case anywhere. It’s not β€œthe receptionists thinking they’re doctors”. They triage people as best they can. I just want to say thank you for the care I have received recently with special mention to reception staff, Dr Carter, Dr Forrester, and a lovely nurse called Rebecca.
