Worse experience ever, the hairdresser was very rude and rushed my braid making resulting in them being asymmetrical. When confronted she said it was because of my hair type (Had braids for over a year and never had issues having them symmetrical) Overall my experience was horrible I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I also got overcharged I was first told it was 40 and it came up as 60 for rushed braids. The only reason I went there is because the amazing lady that does my hair was not here that day.

I had such a great experience at Nana Hair Salon! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel completely comfortable and cared for. The customer service was top-notch—they really took the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure I left happy and confident. I’m so in love with the style I chose, and it turned out even better than I imagined! If you’re looking for a salon that truly cares about their clients and delivers amazing results, I highly recommend giving Nana Hair Salon a visit. You’ll walk out feeling like your best self!

I travelled all the way from Brighton to see my regular hairdresser but she her shop was shut on Mondays so I saw opposite another Salon with the above name, I went to put in my weave on, because I've perm cut my hair, it was only the front and middle part that needed plaiting. I had my own extensions and weave on. It took less than 2 hours and I was charged £70. This is highest I've paid for that kind of service in 21 years. Note, there was no styling after putting the wig on with straightener like every hairdresser does and even moisturiser. Unfortunately I will never go there again as the price are ridiculous. My regular hairdresser charges £40 and she really takes her time. I've regretted so much.

I visited the salon a few days ago ..asked for a ponytail cornrows... After just 1 day they were falling off..was asked to pay £90..j even gave £10 tip..the lady doesn't k ow how to do cornrows ..its disgusting. They overcharged me for nothing..and above all ..they are not considerate of others and speak in their language through and through ..very rude.. I will not recommend this salon..especially if you've worked hard for your money..NEVER AGAIN

Update: Unfortunately, since my review below I've had a few opinions on price and a different experience that has changed my mind. Please note the picture below, I was charged £80 initally £100, because it wasn't pre-twisted. My third visit was a totally different experience, atmosphere quite cold. I had to remind them of my review depsite receving over 500 views, promoting their services. For the style, I had brought small pre-twisted single twists 24inches for crochet so there was no plaiting or twisting, just cornrowing my hair for crochet. This took less than 1.5 hours with my helping by handing the strands and yet I was charged £60. Nana tried to charge intially £70 as she tried to make out they were hard to put in, I refused and showed her how easy it was. Their price says from £40 but I'm starting to wonder if they ever charge a style for £40. I figured maybe it's to do with length but unfortunately, no as my mother went there first time. She had crochet passions twists, again, pre-twisted only 14 inches and her hair is thin. She was charged £60. I've calulated that over 6 months, I have paid £179 that's NOT including buying the crochet hair for styles. I just can't afford this, I'm disabled and need a salon to help me out so I may just come in for a simple cornrown, otherwise I just can't do it. However, I would recommend this salon if you are happy to pay their prices. My 2nd time here, I love this place! The vibes, the atmosphere and the ladies are very warm, very friendly and open. I would especially like to thank Esther and Nana for taking the time to do my passion twists after I brought the wrong crochet type. They negotiated with me and charged a reasonable price and saved my life yesterday! I most definately recommend this salon for a fast reliable and friendly service.

I was walking by & decided to have a hair cut which I regretted big time ! Lady was talking to her friend in her language about me & making rude comments which I understood because she didn’t know I can ! I believe all those positive comments are friends of the owner. Lady didn’t know how to cut hair I believe she is used to cutting wigs & fake hair ! She ruined my hair . Another customer comes in & she give her bad attitude! I left & had to go somewhere to fix the damage she did to my uneven hair ! So if you looking for a hair cut avoid this place!

Quite annoyed at the fact i have a different hairstyle to the one showed and was given. I found it rude that the whole salon talked over me in their language in what seemed like a conversation regarding how much I was to be charged for my hair which resulted in me being overcharged with a whopping £60 but at my insulted reaction to the price had it reduced to £55. I specifically asked for small plaits and got large ones that probably wont even last a week. The braids DO NOT fit my face and I had the whole shop after openly discussing me, approach me 1 by 1 and tell me in a false and forced manner "it looks nice" as i was visibly unhappy. What's shocking is I've known this hairdressers for quite a while and in the past week have spent over £150 alone, having had people visit on my behalf. Its a shame but I definetly wont be visiting again - i was more offended by thier treatment of me and even more unhappy at the fact I'd pretty much wasted my money and have to put up with a hairstyle i dont like or want just to not feel so bad. NEVER AGAIN...

The lovely ladies in this shop was very welcoming, friendly, and loving. I needed to get my hair twisted as I had an event to attend and they squeezed me in and did an amazing job. I highly recommend
