Herty done my hair beautifully Kinky Twist extension and I received a great deal of compliments. Also done my daughter's hair Knotless braids and twist. She loves it.
Honestly one of my worst hair experiences. First, I was given an appointment time of 9:30am. At midnight the night before( while I was already asleep, alarm set etc) I was asked to come at 10 instead. I arrived at 10, and I was not let in until 10:30 because Herty had overslept, which she apologises for and I completely understood. All was going well until another woman came into the shop. Herty asked if I minded her doing her hair real quick as she just wanted a wash, I said it was fine. ‘Real quick’ turned into about 20 minutes. But I still said nothing. She gets back to doing my hair, but she stops every 3 minutes to do something else. Either to walk over to talk to the other workers in the shop, or in once instance, literally walk out of the shop somewhere? Another little girl game in with her mother, who Herty clearly knew well (they were on first name basis, talking about each other’s families, etc). At this point, there were 3 people getting their hair done, and 3 ladies doing hair. You’d think that means each of us has one person doing our hair. But no. Herty essentially abandoned my hair to go and help the little girl get her cornrows done. Even though there was already a worker doing it. Every 5 minutes or so, she’d come back and braid half a braid of mine, then turn back away to work on the cornrows with the other worker. I ended up sitting from 12:45 to 14:15 with no progress being done on my hair at all as she went between talking with the girl’s mother, doing her hair for her, talking to the other workers, looking at instagram reels etc. All the while I’m sat uncomfortably in this chair just hoping it’ll be done eventually. Progress sped up once the girl and her mother left, but it was a good hour and a half or more that I was left essentially abandoned while two of the women cainrowed 10 plaits, with one of them always standing back and just watching and talking. I thought that would be the end of it, but then at 15:15 someone else walked into the shop (again, clearly someone Herty already knew). Another worker started working on their hair. And shocker, Herty AGAIN stopped doing my hair to do this new person’s hair, leaving the other worker standing back, hand on hips doing nothing. They didn’t swap, I was just left yet again tin the chair uncomfortable while somebody who walked in 5 hours after me got two people to focus on them. For context, I wanted mid back box braids. Another women walked in 1-2 hours after me and got bottom length box braids. She was done an hour and a half before I was because she had a worker who didn’t keep swapping between people. I desperately wanted to enjoy my time here. But question if it’s worth being cast to one side in favour of regulars / people the workers already know and see often. Three times my hairdresser decided to just stop doing my hair to focus on somebody who arrived hours after I did.
I noticed this Salon by chance and popped in to enquire about options for my 15 year olds hair. He was interested in plats or a gel twist. Herty was extremely professional polite and friendly. She advised my son and did a wonder job. I will definitely be coming back to re-do his hair and also mine. Herty, your Salon is like home from home, you are charming and I enjoyed our conversation. Easy booking. Only took 2.5 hrs for single braids! Really friendly and attentive. Great experience, warm atmosphere and good price.
Last minute appointment for my daughter to have a wash and blow dry. We were very pleaed with the results. Very friendly staff too. We will definitely be going back.

Very friendly and professional. The only salon that makes my hair without not having to loose the extension the following day. Neat environ as well. Will def recommend.
