Alexandra always does an amazing job with my wavy/curly hair. I’m always amazed by how much texture she brings to it and the layers are perfect to accentuate my curls. The products they use in this salon always smell amazing which is a lovely bonus and it always has a relaxing atmosphere.
I am writing this review as a warning to potential clients, particularly those seeking a technical colour service like Balayage. My experience with Daniele was deeply unsatisfactory, resulting in technical failure, hair damage. I booked a Balayage, requesting a subtle, blended, and non-damaging colour transition. The service was a fundamental failure under the professional standard expected of a "Master Colourist." 1. Technical Failures and Misrepresentation: • Result vs. Service: I paid for a Balayage (a smooth, blended, natural gradient), but received a result that was objectively a set of poorly executed Highlights. The result showed harsh, distinct bands of colour with no smooth transition (see attached photos). • Initial Flaw: The first result was three distinct, unblended colour bands: my natural root, a harsh line of brassy orange, and then yellow. This is a technical error, not a "different technique." • Inadequate Toning: The toner was left on for an insufficient time (approximately 5 minutes), resulting in persistent, unflattering yellow and brassy tones that Daniele later insisted were "perfect" and "how it is meant to be." 2. Hair Damage and Lack of Care: • Despite being informed my hair was fragile, Daniele used 6% hydrogen peroxide and left the bleach on my hair for an excessive period of time (over 3 hours in total, with bleach fully saturated for over 50 minutes). • This overly aggressive and prolonged processing constitutes a clear lack of reasonable care and resulted in my hair being damaged and burnt. When I questioned the process, his only response was to state he was a "professional." 3. Poor Customer Service and Refusal to Rectify: • After seeing the colour failure in natural light, I immediately returned. Daniele initially tried to dismiss the problem, stating there "wasn’t much he could do." • I was misled about the salon’s closing time, told to come back after 6:00 PM (closing time is at 6pm) for a fix. I then had to wait an additional hour in the salon for him to address the issue. • The final correction attempt was incomplete. He refused to lift the roots to the requested level or properly tone the ends. • Refusal of Refund: After spending over 7 hours in the salon for a failed service and a failed fix, he refused a refund, maintaining the colour was "perfect." I paid for a professional Balayage and received a technically faulty, damaging, and unacceptable service with the technique being that used for highlights (confirmed by a professional master colourist). The salon has refused to provide the full refund that is warranted under my consumer rights for services not delivered with reasonable care and skill. I strongly advise clients to look elsewhere for quality colour work. (The first photo shows his first attempt, the remaining photos show my hair after the attempted fix)
My first time using this salon, Rosa was very welcoming, easy to engage with and listened to my request. She transformed my hair beyond recognition, educated me on styling and had me feeling very comfortable. Definitely recommend. The salon is lovely, refreshments offered, a great experience all round!

Rosa is absolutely amazing! She styled both my daughter's and my hair, and we couldn't be happier with the results. She was incredibly kind, professional, and made the entire experience enjoyable. Not only did she listen to what we wanted, but she also went above and beyond to make sure we left feeling confident and beautiful. Really amazing haircut by Alexandra. She had a really high attention to detail which meant I left the salon feeling totally confident and happy with my haircut. She understood my hair type really well, and was able to adjust the haircut to suit my hair type. Overall really great cut and experience, will definitely be going back!
I visited ESHK for the first time today and I’m SO pleased I chose this salon. Everyone in the salon was really friendly and welcoming, and Rosa has given me the nicest highlights I’ve ever had and a really beautiful cut. She listened to what I wanted and I’m really happy with my hair, can’t wait to come back again in a few months.
Valentina did my transformation from long bixie to short Mia Farrow pixie perfectly! She understood my wants, was very thorough and gave me the look I hoped for and more. In the past, hairdressers might have given me the length I wanted, but the look felt dated. This, however, feels current yet classic with the perfect amount of edge. It’s clear that Valentina has great style and a good understanding of current trends - which in my opinion is key when trusting your hairdresser with a new look. I can only give her my warmest recommendation!
I’ve been having my haircut done by Silvia several times now and the results were always great! She is very professional, pays attention to my requirements, makes suggestions for the haircut and also gives great advices on improving hair health along with products recommendations! The overall salon experience is awesome!
Came in last week for a cut with Silvia and loved it so much I went back today for colour, and I am just absolutely in love with both. Like seriously thrilled. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted and she translated it into an amazing cut and colour. After 16 years of living in London I've FINALLY found the perfect stylist. I'll definitely be back!!
