Ashanti was so so so lovely and kind. She was super gentle with my hair and scalp during the washing stage blow-drying stage. She also answered all my questions regarding my hair and gave me lots of useful tips and advice, which she kindly wrote down for me. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would! I’ve been coming to Elite for a little while now. I started patronising their Lewisham branch but Archway is much more convenient for me. All levels of the team are great, super professional and friendly. I usually have my hair done by Talisha but had Eavion trim my hair last week and she is brilliant - she pays attention to detail to make sure you get what you are after. Thank you all!
Today was my first time visiting Elite Hair Lounge (Archway) for a silk press with Talisha. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and professional. Even though I arrived about 15 minutes early, Talisha was ready and greeted me with a smile. She kindly offered me water while she prepped her station. Talisha was incredibly gentle with my tender scalp and took great care of my hair throughout the entire process. She walked me through each step of the treatment, which was both refreshing and informative. She also suggested a much-needed trim—and I’m so glad she did. The results were amazing! Ashanti was very welcoming honest and transparent. I booked in for a texture release however after having a look at the condition of my hair, Ashanti recommended a silk press instead to give me the opportunity to be able to manage my hair whilst rectifying the damage. The respect for my crown was 10/10.
I had an excellent experience with Quinsta. As well as providing some maintenance advice, she struck the balance between being personable and professional really well which made for an enjoyable experience. I was seen earlier than expected and the duration of my appointment was as described upon booking and that especially made me very happy. I didn't note the name of the stylist that washed and treated my hair, but she was great also and has an incredibly gentle hand — I was so pleased! Very satisfied overall. Thank you

Benieve was absolutely fantastic and my hair looked stunning! The texture release really took to my hair, so I was so happy with the results. Ayishia also assisted with some of my treatment, so I must also extend my thanks to her! The atmosphere in Archway salon is lovely - so friendly and welcoming. Well worth the trip from Greenwich - I will be back!
I was excited to get a silk press and trim at Elite however 3 weeks later I washed my hair and have experienced severe heat damage. I have used heat multiple times on my hair previously and this has never happened. Yet 1 silk press, 4 shampoos and 2 treatments later my curls have not recovered and I have been left with a head full of stringy damaged hair which is very upsetting. For the amount they charge the stylist should be better qualified to treat your strands with care. It is a real shame and I would advise anyone who values their natural hair to think twice before coming here. I really regret going to Elite for a silk press, no style justifies my hair being permanently damaged.
