   I wanted to write a review, not because I’m disappointed with my haircut, but because of a comment made by my hairdresser which was extremely offensive. Having told the stylist I stay in Glasgow, she said how she loves Scotland as there is ‘less riff-raff’, leaning in closer and specifying she was talking about QUOTE “blacks and foreigners” and that she loves that it’s just “WHITE Scottish” people. This was virtually the first conversation we had made and I was honestly too stunned to even challenge her. The stylist who had just (excellently) washed my hair was black, and within ear shot. I cannot imagine what it must be like to work with such racist comments. I hope that this stylist can restrain herself in the future, from being so hateful. Just because I am white does not mean I want to hear that or that I’m going to agree. The stylist also clearly does not know that Glasgow is a very diverse city, and I am in fact in a very happy relationship with a ‘foreign’ man whom she’d refer to as ‘riff-raff’.

   I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair cut at Salon Seven, and I must say their service is truly remarkable. One of the best things is that I never had to wait for my appointment, making the experience even more enjoyable. Maxine, my stylist, is not only incredibly nice and friendly but also has a magical touch. Her head massages during hair washes are so relaxing. What sets her apart is her knowledge about which hair cut suits best, and she works her magic to bring that vision to life. I'm delighted with the result!

   I have a very hard time choosing hairdressers after some disappointments in the past. I have walked in to Salon Seven and was consulted by Elaine who advised me straight away and kindly booked me in for a nearest suitable appointment. I felt at ease with Elaine as she seemed extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. Very happy with the results, exactly how I wanted my hair to turn out. Atmosphere in the salon is fantastic too. Thank you.

   I saw Chelsey at Seven yesterday for a full head of highlights, and a cut and finish. They had a fantastic new client deal on which I took advantage of! It was a lovely experience. Nice relaxing atmosphere with lovely comfy chairs and basins for hair washing. Chelsey was really friendly but also let me have some relaxation time with my Kindle (I have a toddler & am pregnant so the “me time” was welcomed)! But when we did chat she was very friendly and easy to talk to. I left feeling very happy with the outcome of my hair and of the whole experience at Seven. I look forward to returning for another bit of relaxation!
