I’m not going to leave zero stars because I come in here a LOT and most of my interactions with staff have been very pleasant. But today when buying a tube of silicone, the man behind the counter asked me if I was aware that I need a gun to use the silicone. I just found this extremely patronising as I wouldn’t have been asked the same question if I was a man. He also didn’t ask me for my account details which has never happened before, so I’m assuming he didn’t ask because he just assumed I wouldn’t have an account due to the fact I’m a woman. The whole interaction just felt very sexist which is so weird, because there are so many capable women in the trade business nowadays

Popped in for a seal wasn’t to sure of the size as there was two Listed on their computer so I asked the little man with spectacles on behind the counter if I could see the two of them he smirked and sarcastically told me go and have a look on the computer which I said I did but would like to view bith rubber seals , he then tried to be little me in Front of another customer and proceeded to tell me very sarcastically again to get the part numbers off the computer while hes actually standing there ,,,,, whats little man actually getting paid to do ,,,,,,smug little mam has a computer in front of him and a handheld device ,,,obviously his little man syndrome has kicked in now ,..so I told him to shove the part where the sun don’t shine and went next door to B&Q where i was dealt with by a lovely member of staff ,and very helpful and polite , I didn’t get the little mans name with Spectacles but he has lost them a sale and future trade off me

I had a really poor experience at the Wrexham store today. The person at the till was checking messages on his mobile phone while serving me, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. When I wished him a good weekend, his response was a blunt “yeah, bye” — delivered with a couldn’t-care-less attitude. It left a very bad impression and certainly didn’t feel like the level of service I would expect from Screwfix.

Always have what we need & most of the staff are very knowledgeable so if you're not quite sure on something they will probably be able to get you on track with the exact things you do need. Also a good sized car park with several disabled spaces too. It's always such a handy place to go for all your DIY needs and more if I'm honest. Definitely recommend going here if you need any help with what you need for the job you want completed. Top marks from me!!!

Not a good experience, ordered item Thursday, told to expect delivery Friday or possibly Sat, heard nothing so rang Monday only to be told it was in store since Friday. No advice received at all and just told they had been having problems.

Appalled at the customer service i received today. The girl who served me was quick in saying she knew nothing about DIY. She couldn't be bothered to help me out and was rude.

I have never left here here without what I wanted. The stock is seemingly bottomless, and with a central location off the A483, good parking, ground floor accessibility, and keen pricing make Wrexham's Screwfix a terrific drop-in shop for trade and DIY markets.
