Libby was great. She immediately understood my needs and ensured I was happy before leaving, tweaking the cut as we finished. The whole team are so nice there that the atmosphere is always comfortable.
I'm more than happy with the treatment I received at Toni&Guy Bromley. I explained what I want and we spoke about it before the hairdresser cut it. She was very professional and really nice she made me feel so welcome. The cut I got was really beautiful and cut really well. I walked in feeling dowdy and came out feeling like a princess .I would definitely recommend this salon to my friends and family and will 100% go back again.
I booked an appointment online, reconfirmed with them by telephone 48 hours in advance. at no point during the call was it raised that there was a need for a patch test (there was something on the online booking that I should have checked). I was then called 23 hours before the appointment to say that the colour booking is being cancelled. I appreciate that I booked online, but why was it not raised when I spoke to T&G the previous day - 48 hours before the appointment? as a further point, I had also called over a week prior to the appointment and left a voicemail to check the online booking was all fine (very rarely does the phone get answered). I asked someone to call me back and no one did. Furthermore, this is not the first time this has happened to me. I have previously booked by telephone and again, 24 hours prior to the meeting the appointment was cancelled saying that I needed a patch test. this has seriously let me down. I have a very important work meeting in the afternoon, of the day I was meant to be getting my hair done. I am not precious, but this service is so below even average. I feel so let down and realistically, no one at T&G cares. I have been a T&G customer in London and in Bromley for over 20 years. over this time I have spent thousands with your business. Needless to say, I will not be using this service ever again. start having respect for your customers T&G!
I had a fantastic experience with Ellie! After having my hair done in another salon, my color was far too light, and yellow, and Ellie really came to the rescue. This was my first visit and she took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and needed, and she absolutely delivered. She corrected the color perfectly and gave me the look I had hoped for. I felt heard, cared for, and left the salon feeling really happy and confident. Thank you, Ellie – I’ll definitely be coming back!
The name Toni & Guy once stood for quality in hairdressing, but I urge you to think twice before visiting the Bromley branch. Like many Toni & Guy salons, this one is a franchise—but it feels like they've stopped trying. The salon looks tired and uninspired. They use flimsy disposable towels that cheapen the experience and give the whole place a lazy feel. Maybe there's an ecological reason for them, but it certainly doesn't feel special or luxurious as an experience. I’ve been a regular for about three years, mainly for hair colouring. It was never amazing, but it was local and convenient. That changed during my last visit when the colour went badly wrong. I left my details for the manager to follow up—he never called. I eventually rang back and got a new appointment, but the way I was treated was dismissive and cold. No apology, no sense of care—I felt like an inconvenience. At my original appointment, I had asked for blonde highlights, as usual, and instead walked out with a purple-brown block colour. The salon couldn't see the issue. There are other small things I could mention that may seem minor on their own, but together they reflect a salon that simply doesn’t value its clients. They’re not experts in colour, and they don’t seem to care. You’re better off going elsewhere.
Love this place. Wendy is fabulous. She saved me from a disastrous haircut I got at another salon. She brought it back to life. Love how she cuts my hair.
I came here to get curtain bangs cut in with some layering around the front with Sophie and couldn’t have had a better experince. All the staff were extremely welcoming on arrival and I wasn’t left waiting around for my appointment, Sophie had a consultation with me first to make sure I was happy with my decision and checked in when she was doing the cut. From the wash (with a head massage that could’ve put me to sleep)! To the blowdry everything was so professional and luxurious, I can’t wait to go back.
Had my hair cut by Rochelle this evening and I couldn’t recommend her enough. Having my hair cut really spikes my anxiety, but she was so so kind and patient with me and done everything I asked for. Will definitely return.
Recently moved into the area and was looking for a reliable hairdresser. Read along of reviews and decided to give them a try. So far I have had no worries and bad hair cuts. So I decided to get kids hair cut too. So far I have not been disappointed and the staff are very friendly too which is a bonus.
I went into the salon with a picture of what i had in mind for my colour. My stylist was very realistic about what results I can expect with the existing colour I had on my hair but talked me through what can be done to eventually work my way up to that result i want with future trips. She was very thorough with explanations (which I love), consulted me on colours and was very attentive and professional. I think she was worried i wouldn’t like the results but she did a brilliant job. I have paid much more money for results and service I haven't been happy with so the cost of the appointment was really good value for money. Will definitely be going back.
