I have been going to Little fidgets for a while as my son has autism and didn’t like having his hair cut. My son has built such a lovely relationship with Vicki and it’s amazing to see how far he’s come. From him screaming the whole appointment to now where he will allow Vicki to use the buzzer is a massive achievement. The only place he will trust to have his hair cut. Customer for life ❤️

Been taking my son (who's mixed race and has loose curls) to Little Fidgets for years and the whole team there (especially Vicky!) have been incredible! They're all lovely and patient, especially with kids who are new to having their hair cut or being exposed to clippers and hair dryers. I can't recommend Little Fidgets highly enough!

My daughter had the BEST experience here. It was her first hair cut, and the ladies were fantastic! I’m sorry I don’t remember the names. The lady cutting my daughter’s hair put Ella at ease instantly, by choosing her favourite programme and making sure she was comfortable. We then got a framed picture of Ella with a certificate of her first hair cut, and a curl of her hair for a keepsake. Just perfect. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more.

Absolutely worth travelling from near Stansted Airport to here to get my Sons hair cut for the first time. The staff are amazing, very patient and calm. The decor inside the salon is lovely and the different little car chairs to sit in are brilliant. Whoever had the idea is a genius. And the little certificate and goodies at the end are a nice touch. So glad we went, thank you ❤️

Brought my twins here who are 2 and came to Sarah. She was amazing! She made me and the boys feel at ease. I was very nervous about them getting their first real haircut, but she was amazing. She was fast, fun and reassuring with them. She was friendly and such a good person to talk to. I would fully recommend this place for anyone who has kids that are nervous about getting their haircut. They do such a good job in there of comforting the kids or working with the parents to help the kids through it. I will definitely be coming back for my boys trim. My life, at the moment, is about small wins, but today Sarah helped me feel like I hit a real milestone with my boys. Thank you xx

First time for our little girl getting her hair cut. Was a fantastic experience for her and a great set up. Lovely keepsake too. Would highly recommend! All the staff were great

I have to admit, they have got great ambience to lure children and make them feel comfortable and additionally make the parents think that this is a great place. The cars instead of seat, the monitor to watch cartoons etc. But I feel that is about it. Don't be surprised if the haircut is not that great. They take a lot of effort with all the distraction and additional help from parents to cut the childs hair but still may end up not doing a great job. But the staff who was performing the job was friendly. Now if your preference is to make sure you need a good cut then i think u can do that in many other places and pay much less. You can actually buy a toy for your kid with the money you saved!! I actually realized this the other day when i went to an other hair dresser who was actually really good and did the haircut without needing all the distraction. One thing I really appreciate at Little Fidgets is they really value their time. I was late for my appointment and they said that i am late and they would not be able to accommodate me, but of course they will charge me in full!! Easy way to get money. But my fault and I cannot complain. One thing I don't understand though is last time around we were made to wait for 30 mins after we reached on time. I am wondering how that makes sense? When they are late its okay and when we are late you pay the full amount and walk out! Guess that is the way the system works! So go for the experience but don't expect that your child will get a great haircut for sure.

Took my 2 year old there today. Be absolutely hates hair cuts and i cant ever get him to sit still but the hairdresser did a great job and I'm really happy with the outcome. Will definitely be going there again. Very friendly staff.

Absolutely great experience. Went for our baby boys 1st Birthday 1st hair cut and it went so smoothly, he loved sitting in the car and everything to keep him occupied. The lady who cut his hair was also very lovely and patient. Would 100% recommend This was him after his haircut, all proud of himself

The salon itself is cute and I can see why it would be appealing. My advice would be that if your child has any sensory specific needs - don’t take them here. The hairstylist wasn’t particularly warm because my son was quite scared and upset (which is the reason we chose this place) and she made a comment that has stuck with me about what I should be doing to get my son more accustomed to getting a haircut - without any knowledge of what his special needs are. The haircut wasn’t great, and almost everyone I know who has used this salon has commented much the same. The receptionist was kind.
