   I went to Laura Jane for a massage, I strained my back and was in a lot of pain. Laura was like a miracle worker and all the pain was gone after that. Even my husband who always refused to have massages, after having one already been back a few times! The salon is clean and modern and the staff is knowledgable and very friendly.

   I made an appointment for a colour and cut. Had the skin test and consultation about two weeks beforehand. But a day or two before the appointment was it was cancelled. Although I completely understand that the stylist was unwell, I was really disappointed that I couldn’t be offered any other appointment within 10 days. I was going to a wedding abroad and had made the appointment in advance so that my hair would be done a week or so beforehand. When I asked for recommendations for another local salon I was told she wouldn’t recommend any. I do completely understand that sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances an appointment might need to be cancelled but I would have hoped that the salon would have offered to rebook or given advice anout somewhere else I could go. In the end I coloured my hair myself as I couldn’t get the skin test done in time to go anywhere else before the wedding. I then went to Windle and Moodle in Covent Garden to have it cut as the could offer lots of appointments at different times within this 10 day period.
