Gemma looked after our dog molly without issue 3 times, on the 4th occasion molly came back with a limp with no explanation, fortunately cleared up in a couple of days. Molly went back to see Gemma twice more without issue then when I tried to arrange a further visit there was no response from Gemma for over a month which was a bit weird. Finally managed to get hold of her and she apologised for the unresponsiveness but has suddenly been “busy” for all further requests even if it’s 6 months in advance on a Tuesday. She also blanked one of my friends whose dog she used to look after by pretending she didn’t know them. Very strange. Such a disappointment as molly is a very anxious dog and seemed to have really taken to Gemma and for her to just ghost us for no reason seemed very odd and unprofessional.

It’s not easy leaving your puppy with a stranger for the first time but Gemma is so warm and kind she instantly put us at ease. She took wonderful care of Molly whilst we were away for a few days and sent us tons of photos showing her holiday was as good if not better than ours! Molly had a blast with her daily muddy walks, her new fluffy friends and plenty of Gemma cuddles and although she was excited to see us on our return she tried to go back in Gemma’s house more than once, before agreeing to come home with us! Sorry molly, you live with us but you shall definitely go back to see Gemma again some time :D

Found Gemma’s Dog Boarding through DogBuddy and I’m glad I did! Right from initial consultation where Arnie, my golden Cocker Spaniel (elderly!), and I met her and her dog, through to picking him up a week later Gemma was great. Messages and photos meant I could keep up with how he was getting on. Everything was straight forward and she was always happy to help. 5 stars well earnt and I’d be happy to take Arnie back and recommend her to his friends’ owners.
