   I couldn’t be happier with my experience at The Cats Other Mother! Our cat has never stayed away from family before so we were definitely nervous beforehand, but we had no reason to be! Helen took the time to learn about my cat’s specific needs and personality, which instantly put me at ease. Helen has a lot of knowledge about cats and knew instantly what our cat would love/wouldn’t like when we dropped her off. She even got our cat to enjoy wet food again which is amazing! The rooms were clean, cosy, and thoughtfully designed for cats — it truly felt like a home away from home. I loved getting daily updates and photos, showing my cat relaxed, playing, and clearly being pampered. It made being away so much easier knowing she was in such caring hands. Fanta loved being able to hide in the igloo or watching the horses out of the window! Thank you so much for making Fanta’s stay so enjoyable and allowing us to feel relaxed on our holiday knowing she was in good hands! I highly recommend The Cats Other Mother to anyone who wants peace of mind while they’re away. We’ll definitely be back!

   Our cat Ruby has just returned after her top class stay! The rooms are beautifully decorated and set out with cat's behaviour in mind. Helen is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive about cats and what they need. I was kept well updated about how Ruby was getting on, including, cuddles and playtime and how she was eating. She came home contented and happy. I particularly like that she couldn't see other cats, which would normally stress her out in a standard cattery. Wouldn't hesitate to book her in again.    My 6 sphynx cats stayed here for a week, this is the first time I had ever used a cat hotel for them and Helen and family make everything so smooth and stress free from start to finish. I honestly cannot recommend them all enough. We received daily updates and pictures every other day, the cats had the best time and completely put my mind as ease. When we arrived to pick them up the cats wasn’t too fussed about getting home I think they would have been happy to stay longer! The hotel itself is stunning and so welcoming, Helen will take the time to get to know your fur(less) babies and you as their owner making sure they have the most enjoyable stay. 5 stars without a doubt and will 100% be returning with my clan in the near future. Thank you so much from one madhouse to the other x

   We were quite nervous about leaving Ernie as it would be the most days we have been away from him and at the last cattery he stayed at he did not settle! But as soon as we arrived at The Cats Other Mother, we were all made to feel so welcome. The Hotel is so warm and friendly and you can feel the love pouring out of every aspect of it! We were shown to Ernie’s room and he settled in straight away! He loved his window and his platforms to sit on! There was everything and more in the room to make him feel at ease and happy! He didn’t even want to come home at the end haha! Helen was amazing! She could not do enough! Her knowledge about Cats was just so reassuring to know Ernie was going to be so well looked after. The updates throughout the stay were settling for us to know he was happy and loving his time there! Throughout the whole process Helen has been great, even before Ernie arrived, she called and spoke through everything and made me feel comfortable before dropping Ernie off! I can’t forget Helen’s lovely mum, who i know was very involved making Ernie’s stay the best it could be! I really could not recommend The Cats Other Mother enough to anyone with a feline friend. It really is a safe and loving environment that you feel safe leaving your fur baby! 5 stars isn’t enough!

   We had only had Reggie about 4 months before we had to put him in boarding as we picked him up from a rescue centre but already had a pre-booked holiday. Reggie had been through a hard time and was in a bad state when we first saw him so I was nervous about having to board him as he had only just got used to us. I came across The Cats Other Mother whilst scouring the Internet and it jumped out as the most stylish place I had seen. Once I met Helen and saw the place first hand I knew I didn't need to worry. Helen is lovely and absolutely devoted to cats and the rooms in the hotel are incredible and spacious with plenty of toys and stimulating activities to keep the cats busy and active on their holidays. Helen and her team pay the cats a lot of attention and this helped Reggie settled in quickly she also sends regular updates, pictures and videos to put your mind at rest. Reggie has stayed three times so far and is booked in twice more this year and once next year so far. There are slightly cheaper options out there but trust me the care they receive and the environment the cats are in is worth the extra, I wouldn't board Reggie anywhere else now.

   Samson and Nala spent 5 months with Helen and Jan, we initially thought it would only be a few weeks until we bought our house. It was an emotional time being separated from our fur babies, Helen and Jan cared for us as well as our cats, we visited often and always had a cup of tea and a chat. The rooms are amazing with lots of toys to keep them stimulated, they changed rooms for a change of scenery, Samson has a history of having a sensitive stomach and was fed top quality food, their emotional needs were met with lots of daily cuddles, we were kept updated and any problems Helen would let us know. Helen and Jan have a genuine passion for cats, we were so happy with their care. The day we picked them up was emotional for all, Samson and Nala are now settled in our new house and we will always be so grateful for the love and care of our fur babies. Thank you again Helen and Jan xxxx

   We booked our two cats in for three nights. It was their first time away from home since we adopted them so we were a little bit anxious. As soon as we met Helen all our worries evaporated and we knew she would take excellent care of our cats. The facilities are fantastic - lots of room for the cats to play and lots of toys/stimulation for them as well. They enjoyed their time here so much I don’t think they wanted to come home! I cannot recommend The Cats Other Mother highly enough and we will definitely be bringing our cats for another stay next time we are away
