I enjoyed staying at the hostel. It is well located and has a really nice bar, but what truly makes me want to come back is the staff. The Brazilian team is very charismatic and always smiling, especially JoΓ£o, who was very attentive with us.

I would genuinely give this place a higher score for service if it wasn't for the way I was treated by security in the early hours while organising my travel itinerary towards the next destination. There's no lounge, so you either have to risk waking up your roommates or sit in the corridor on the floor. I chose the latter. Within 5 minutes of me doing so, I was ushered out by security who treated me like a dodgy vagrant. When leaving my key at the reception 2 minutes later and checking out the other security didn't say anything, didn't smile, just did the old stare down. Very odd place. The other negative was during the night my sheet came off the duvet and when seeing the colour and stains it made me feel sick. Early check in was great, the girl was very professional and helpful. The location and price is a good trade off. The showers and toilets are mingin'. But that's the pricing trade off, I suppose. Honestly though, sort out a lounge as you can't sit anywhere if needed. Your security are absolutely awful with customer service. Hopefully their trade off is worth it because I know I won't be back. The bar was also a good spot. Cheap for London

I felt very safe, everything was clean, the staff is very nice and helpful, there's privacy in the dorm rooms cause the beds have walls, there's a shelf in every bed and a very big locker under the bed. Lots of space, a table with mirrors in the room. Good water pressure in the showers. Clean water. Ate an amazing vegan burger in the cafΓ© downstairs. The only noteworthy thing that wasn't very good was the USB charging outlets at the beds, they didn't work very well. And the normal outlet was too far to reach with a normal cable. But if you bring an extension cable you're fine :))

Here is the English translation: I came from Taiwan and stayed at a 2-person room on the 5th floor for 13 days at the end of November. At first, I saw many mixed reviews, but after staying here, I truly felt the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and I had no bad experiences. There was no curtain beside the bed, but there were four outlets in the room, which was more than enough. The food sold on the first floor was affordable and tasty, and itβs also a good choice if you want to have a drink. If you need hot water, you can ask for it at the bar. The self-service breakfast costs Β£9.5 and is enough to make you full. The bathrooms and toilets were clean too, although some locks were broken, but it didnβt affect usage. The heating starts at 8 p.m. and lasts until the morning; sometimes it starts earlier or ends earlier. I am still staying here now, and I highly recommend this place to travelers who come to London and donβt have very high requirements for accommodation.

DO NOT STAY HERE! While the location is good, it is not worth it. The rooms look nothing like the pictures; they never had a mirror or desk. We were in a room of 4, and we could barely move around. It was so small. We couldn't even have two of our under-the-bed bins open at the same time. The first day, we asked for a do not disturb sign and were never given one after being told we would have one. Multiple times, workers were in our room without us knowing. Once I walked into my room just to see them standing there. They went to fix our one window pane that didn't have a frosted window, and left the room smelling of paint. It was simply not safe to stay in that room, as we all got headaches after being in there for 30 minutes with the window open. There was also glass on the windowsill. We are thankful that they were able to move us to a new room, but they gave us 10 minutes to pack up everything.

Very buzzing popular place, retro, modern designs, plenty of colour and atmosphere to the whole place. Guests mostly under 25's. Super friendly attentive staff, very helpful and genuine. Didn't get to try the food sadly, but the food hall looked great and was packed so that should speak for itself. Everywhere was clean to a high standard, comfy beds, hot showers! Good value, Lovely night!

The self check in is such a nice feature in this hostel! Once I got to my room it was another story, my assisted bed was dirty and used sheets, staff told me to just move to another bed. The staff overwhelmed by check in and not thinking much about the room being fully booked that weekend. Later on that night I had one the ladies in the room tried to fist fight another person in the room. I felt she was mostly upset at her accommodations and hostels are certainly not for everyone. Thankfully staff escorted her out. That was the first night but the rest of the weekend was good. The other ladies in the room were all great to chat with. Everything was pretty close. Its a good hostel but a little overwhelming at time since it is closer to the center of a large city. Lockers are great for exploring a bit after check out.

What a fantastic place to stay as a tourist! First, the hotel itself is superb. Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, bar, amenities, etc. The dorm room format is a bit risky during the pandemic or in immediate post-pandemic times but I survived ahahaha One occupant was clearly sick though and kept coughing and stayed in for an entire day but I was fine Then the location of the hotel - it is perfectly located so close to everything! Few minutes from a metro station, close to many parks, some minutes from the British Museum... Quite affordable, I greatly enjoyed my experience and would definitely rent a bed again

I got to stay in the 0-floor the smoking floor. Was staying in a female only room next tot he smoking are asked to change rooms because they smoke (cigarette/weed) continued to go inside. The washer/dryers were broken only one washer/dryer was working properly. They definitely need new bartenders⦠so always opted to go somewhere else. The shower cleaning house were a little odd⦠in the morning when everyone has to check out. The music was good. Never tried the food. The staff were really nice. Great place to meet new people. Great location the underground is 1 block away and the underground that goes to another country is only like 3 blocks away. Lots of places to eat around.

One of your better options for exploring London while on a budget. Good location, it's close to the tube so you can access any part of London from here. It provides your basic necessities, a bed, a shower, and a place to secure your belongings. In your bunk, you have a personal light and two USB ports. You have a personal locker under your bunk, but you either have to bring your own lock or buy one from the hostel. Plan ahead and bring a sleep mask and earbuds so your neighbors don't disturb you with lights and noise, otherwise they sell these things at the front desk. I liked the restaurant downstairs, the food was pretty good. The facilities are usually kept clean, I've seen staff cleaning multiple times a day. However, some changes could be made that could make the stay a bit more comfortable. I wish there were curtains around the bunks to give you a bit more privacy. And in the shared shower, there is only one hook to hang all your belongings which all get a little wet because the stall is so small. A hanging basket would make all the difference. Overall, good value for your money.
