“Very welcoming and friendly hostels. I really enjoyed the Hostel Familly Free Dinners, I was able to meet people there. Thanks again to the people who work there, especially Nelly, you're amazing! Really very close to public transport. Although our food disappeared on the day of the fridge cleaning, I loved coming to this hostel and I would come back on my next visit to London. Maybe next year!”

“This is a quality hostel. It's quiet, it's well priced, it's close to the tube station, it's perfectly situated for a weekend visit to London. Plus, the staff are wonderful. I am a country lass, so finding anything in a city, let alone the capital city, that I like and can tolerate for any length of time is very rare.”

On out floor there was a room with all the necessary to eat ( spoon, plates, fridge, microwave) and also to have relax After a day spent in London Reading a book or to share experiences with our travellers. The location was perfect because the area is very quiet but reach of services in the nearby. The staff were very kind and professional, always available for any doubt. Wombat's City Hostel London

    ★★★★☆ 4.4 (3,575 Reviews) Well rated Open

“Probably the best hostel in all of London! The location is great, just a 10 minute walk from Tower Bridge and Tower of London, which is also a Circle and District line station, making travel around the city very easy. Check in was simple, and the rooms have pretty comfy bunk beds with assigned lockers to store your things. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were very kind should you want to replace your towels or linens or anything. The shower is notably wonderful -- great pressure and temperature. We were lucky enough to get a room with a view out onto this gorgeous church next door! There's fans in each bunk if you're too hot, and radiators if you're too cold. The bar downstairs only opens at 6, but it's a great spot to hang out with lots of mat-covered benches, a pool table, and an L-shaped bar in this cool arched brick space, staffed by super cool and friendly people (shoutout to Cassie here!) and full of friendly fellow patrons who are happy to chat to anyone in the vicinity. Laundry was somewhat expensive at 5 pounds a load for washing, but they provide detergent which was a godsend, and let's be honest, this is London. The cafe near reception has great coffee, and a variety of pastries, as well as a nice little sit-down, bookshelf-laden area to enjoy them. I'd recommend them any day, and will likely be booking back in again in the near future! Thanks so much Wombat!”

    The London Agent

    ★★★★☆ 4.4 (26 Reviews) Well rated Closed

“We enjoyed the Pimlico Flat for 10+ days. It is a very comfortable 2 BR & 2 Bathroom flat, with a cozy sitting room that has a gas fireplace that came in handy on a few blustery days. The kitchen is well equipped except you need to bring your own coffee maker. There was a small coffee press with no base, so inoperable. The flat is down a flight a stairs so can be challenging for older travelers. I would definitely recommend this flat for an extended stay in London. It is located in between the Victoria and Pimlico tube stops and the 24 Bus stop is very close and takes you to major museum stops.”

“I gave YHA Oxford Street 5 stars because of having a good positive experience overall with my one night stay there. The room was clean, the 2-bed bunk-bed was do-able and there was a nice new metal fan in the room. The window was open and we heard very little of London traffic. It did not matter that the lift did not go all the way up because we were used to stairs. The shower was a delightful surprise because it was a power shower.”

The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport, nearby attractions, and plenty of conveniences around. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing stay after a long day of exploring the city. Another highlight was the in-house pub, which served delicious food and a good selection of beers. It was a great spot to unwind without even leaving the hotel. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.”

“This is really a gem of a hostel right in the perfect spot of London. Located right o the Lower Marsh Market, the Walrus has very nice rooms, stunning (especially for a hostel) bathrooms, and a great/lively bar downstairs where all travelers get 10% off! Generous free breakfast is included, and the staff is very accommodating. Right next to Waterloo Station, but I really did not find the noise to be that bad at all. The upside of being so close is you can get nearly anywhere in the city (and beyond via SouthWestern/Northern Railways) right from Waterloo. I plan on returning any time I end up in London!”

“This is a really great hostel, especially if you need access to Kings Cross. It was literally a three or four minute walk from there. I booked an all female dorm room and I was the only one there. Everything was great. There was a heater as well and a nice view across the street. Only issue is the shower in the bathroom kind of flooded a bit and it’s pretty cramped. But besides that I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and appreciated their cute little café and pizzeria. The lobby is a little bit condensed, but that’s to be expected and a busy high demand area.”

“A massive thank you to the staff at YHA! We were having a bit of a nightmare weekend with a hotel cancelling on us, we managed to secure a last minute booking at YHA and the staff were very kind to let us store our bags and get ready in the common area before our event. The wine & pizza in the cafe was great too! The following day after check-out we had another disaster situation, and long story short the receptionists let us use their phone to make a call, use their charger and go back to our room to retrieve a lost item. Without the YHA staff being so accommodating, our stressful weekend would be have 10 times worse! The room itself was clean and everything we needed for one night, good value food, nice communal areas and overall great vibes! Thank you again”
