Very happy with the care my two cats received, they came back happy and healthy after a week in the cattery. Both are shy so they provided them with igloo beds to hide in and were quick to respond when I asked how they were. Will recommend and use again. Thank you.
Not happy with the care of my dog. I advised the kennels my dog is allergic to grass seed and no treats. I have picked him up and as soon as I got him in my car I saw his eye was very red and swollen. I took him home and started to realise his whole face was red raw along with his paws. I decided to wait until Monday as it was the weekend to see if his eye would go down...it didn't which resulted in me going to the vets and spending 233 pounds treating an eye ulcer which can be caused by grass seed. I have no doubt in my mind my dog has been around grass seed on his walks I have had him 10 years and know exactly what sets him off don't expect to pay 180 for someone to take care of my dog for me to then fork out another 233 pounds rectifying their care. My dog had days worth of green crusting around his eyes..to bring this up with the manager to be told that grass seed shouldn't be an issue this time of year.. well that says it all clearly not listened to me.
Copperbeech came to my rescue after I needed last minute dogcare during the summer holidays. My dog is very energetic, and a bit of a handful at times, but they didn't seem to mind in the slightest. All the staff seemed very friendly and my dog was happy and waggy when I picked him up(even before he saw me). Thank you very much :)
I have used Copperbeech Boarding for both my cat and my dog for a number of years .prior to the dog we have I had a reactive dog which Copperbeech were happy to board on a one to one basis. They posted photos of my dog in their conservatory looking so happy ,I was amazed as I wasn't even sure staff would get near him let alone have him out of his kennel. They look after my cat as well who isn't always happy to be kept inside at the best of times and be grumpy,but they let him have a wander round the cattery. It's a first class business and nothing is too much trouble to make your pets stay a happy relaxed one.
Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. Staff are excellent - very attentive to the dogs and will tailor care needed for different dogs. My dog is dog-reactive so they always take care to plan him a kennel where he won't be too stimulated, and walk him alone. He adores the people there and is always so giddy when we arrive. I always know he will be in safe hands and will enjoy his holiday!

Copperbeech are wonderful kennels. Our two young dogs had their first stay this weekend and despite one of them being a naturally very nervy dog, they did really well in kennels. Nicola and the team are so lovely with the dogs (and the human customers!), and the Facebook updates are a great way to see how the pups are doing - we could see they were loving their walks! Our family dogs have been going to Copperbeech for years, and we wouldn't send our dogs to any other kennel.
Had to arrange emergency boarding after being badly let down by a home boarder who demanded our 13 month old labrador was picked up immediately despite us being 7 hour drive away. Luckily Copperbeech had a space from a "no show". We were reassured by these gennuine dog lovers who cared for our (albeit big) puppy while we were away. Thanks!!!
