Pam did my wash cut and blow dry recently. She was very thorough during the session. Highly recommended.
0 stars! Had an awful experience today. Pam was VERY rude and unprofessional. She did not try to understand how I wanted my hair cut or try to help me. She just kept telling me she cant do what I have asked for even though ive had the same style of haircut 2 months before. I have been a loyal customer to supercuts in lakeside for a very long time and was absolutely stunned with the attitude and behaviour i recieved today. She bullied me and was very condescending, spoke to me like i do not understand english and made me feel terrible. She then proceeded to speak about me to her colleagues while i was sitting in the chair even though she knew i could hear her. Disrespectful and completely and utterly rude. She then refused to cut my hair which by that point I had already decided i would not PAY for this service and the manner in which i was spoken to. Terrible never experienced such rudeness in my life. Cutting hair is supposed to be a nice experience and this just ruined my day. No remorse or apology for talking about me while i could hear or no apology for not even trying to do what ive asked for. Atrocious behaviour.
Supercut package (wash cut and blowdry) wash was very relaxing and well cut however my curls were not enhanced as hair was left to airdry and lady left it without product multiple times whilst answering phone. By the time i walked to car my hair was an utter frizzy state
Hairstylist was really nice and polite, however I was initially quoted less than what I ended up paying despite having a consultation and agreeing on a price. The reason for this was because the service my hair required was classed as a colour correction and not just highlights/lowlights which is what I asked for. I would have been happy to pay for a colour correction if this is what I had received, but the hairdresser just did all over lowlights, and didn’t actually perform colour correction on the section of hair that needed it. She went on to say that next time I may need highlights and lowlights in the area which needed correcting. The overall result looked good however I paid almost £200 for a service that didn’t achieve what I hoped for.
The guy was still learning or just really bad at cutting hair. Either way I didn't find that out until he had finished what is probably the worst hair cut I have ever had. He butchered it, its all different lengths, some bits he didn't cut, others parts he hasn't cut straight. I will never use lakeside supercuts or supercuts in general again.
My experience at Supercuts lived up to my satisfaction from Freddy who was my hairstylist on Monday 31st October 2022. I personally requested that for my ideal look was to get myself a new hairstyle being a 'side parting with a skin fade'. The service he provided was very professional and friendly from someone who is young and potentially gifted which leaves room for greater enhancement to uplift and promote his career. I look forward to coming back again after seeing such great skills and astonishing service from him.
Much shorter than agreed and found difficult when i explained i wanted blended layers and feathering. Young man was polite but much too junior. Needs more training, shouldn't be cutting independently just yet. Lucky i am quite easy going, some clients i am sure will respond differently and kick up a much bigger fuss. Also regarding time, i was told 30min wait, i waited 1 hour. Than it took a following 2 hours. I was there a total of 3 hours for a simple cut and blow dry.
I booked an appointment about a week in advance as my hair had not been cut since before lock down started and have not had my hair coloured in a salon in years. My hair had grown so long and I had so may grey hairs growing. I did my patch test and they tested how my hair would react to the bleach, as I wanted highlights. I have really dark hair and wanted to have a bit of tone to my hair. We discuss possible colours that may come out and options. My appointment was at 10.30 as they told me I would have to come in early. I understand why they wanted that now. They spent the whole day on my hair and spent so much time and care to get it right. I had highlights and colour put on my roots to cover the greys. I also cut a good 4 to 6 inches off my hair with layers and feathers. I could not fault anything. I felt so special and well taken care of. I am definitely going back.
