Horrendously understocked for the festive period. Long way from the values of Ken Morrison. Discontinued garlic mayo now on oven fresh. Penny punching in areas that are detrimental.
I ordered food on just eat and was waiting ages. This is not first time ot happened. The staff is horribly slow and it takes forever. If you can’t accommodate this service don’t offer it. The complaints process at this store is non existent.

Good store on the whole. Like a lot of supermarkets these days, it must be difficult to keep going as they used to. I find the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. The shelves are not always filled but that maybe because of retail problems everywhere in this country at present. I must say, the butchery dept deserves a 100% thumbs up. Always helps with information on cuts of meat and cooking times. Well done you guys. Now, the other side......the cafe lets everybody down. Let's be honest, there's very, very rarely anybody on the till. I'm surprised there are not a lot of thefts, or is there. Went for a cup of tea and coffee. Wasn't sure how to order and pay as nobody at the till, wasn't sure what to do (are you supposed to order tea and coffee from that machine thing? Well we did) Eventually 2 people appeared wondering if we wanted something to eat. Then they disappeared back in the kitchen. Went to find the teacups. They were on one side of the cafe and water was on the other side. Only 1 tea spoon which was very dirty, not even one of those wooden stirrers. Cups were not washed properly either. Maybe that explains why there are not many thefts of goods here. We could have served ourselves and not paid a penny had we not ordered on the electronic board. Finally, when we went to sit down after finding what we thought was a clean table. I pulled out a chair only to find baked beans on them...really?? clean the place before somebody gets ill !!. I'm hoping somebody from Management sees this review and will say they are due to upgrade the cafe and staff.
I love Morrison's but every time i go in they have moved their goods around, its lovely and clean and i find the staff very helpful.
Plenty of choice, pricing reasonable compared with competitors, but wish they had less self service checkouts

ONE LESS REASON TO SHOP AT MORRISONS: I went in here today at the request of my wife who had received £3 off £40 shopping vouchers week 1 to week 4. So against my better judgement (because their prices are now through the roof) I went to Morrisons Baxters Lane, spent £121 and was told that because they voucher was against my wife's morrisons card and not against my card I could not receive the measles £3 off the shopping I bought. It was not the fault of of the cashiers, which I told her but I challenged this by stating that the voucher would be cashed in so could not be doubled entered and it was for my family shop which clearly my wife would benefit from so why introduce the rule, the roll of her eyes told me that whilst she could not specifically state it, the rule had been introduced to catch customers out and to entice customers in for a cashback reward which contained this needless rule. SO PLEASE JOIN ME AND MY FAMILY AND BOYCOTT MORRISONS UNTIL THEY STOP THIS SHARP PRACTICE! SHAME ON YOU MORRISONS, AT A TIME WHEN EVERY PENNY COUNTS. JUST ONE MORE REASON NOT TO SHOP AT MORRISONS!
