These guys are absolutely amazing! They are so helpful and skilled at cutting and trimming my hair and beard. I'm 90 years old, and they always assist me from my wheelchair to the chair where I get my hair cut. I highly recommend this place.

I recently visited Public Barbers for a haircut, Alan did my haircut and I have to say, it was easily one of the best barbering experiences I've had. From the moment I walked in, Alan was attentive and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. He offered great advice on what would suit my face shape and hair type, which was immensely helpful. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Alan's haircut skills is exceptional; he's clearly very experienced and passionate about his work. The haircut he gave me was precisely what I wanted – it looked modern, felt great, and was easy to manage. Plus, his attention to detail was second to none. He didn't rush, ensuring every cut was perfect, which really showed in the final result.
We recently moved to Barnes and had Public recommended as a place to bring our son (3.5 years old). He’s always found the hairdressers quite stressful and continues to do so with the clippers but has improved hugely since we started coming here. Also, the guys are just lovely, and patient with him. My boyfriend also goes here rates it and the guys highly.

I take both of my sons to public barbers, they are the best!!! My younger son has special needs and can be quite difficult with haircuts but they’re so patient and caring with him. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!
