The shop itself is fine. Good range, nice fresh products. The staff, however, are some of the rudest people I have ever met. Ten years in retail myself and I am consistently disgusted by the rudeness and lack of customer service skills throughout the staff. This has occurred on multiple occassions over the course of the past 3 years. Had enough, won't be back and strongly discourage regular visits.

I am extremely disappointed with the situation at Morrisons St. Helens regarding Deliveroo orders. For five weeks the system has not been working properly. Drivers sometimes receive an order to this store, sometimes they don’t. When I arrive and politely ask if I have an active order, the staff member aggressively tells me that the system hasn’t been working for weeks, there is no order, and she is the one who gets annoyed. How is it possible that this issue cannot be fixed in five weeks? This should be in their own interest as well. In the meantime, the driver loses time and money, receives no payment, spends fuel and pays insurance to get there – and they can’t even offer a simple apology? Why is the staff member acting offended when the problem is on their side? This attitude is completely unacceptable. The minimum would be polite communication and proper handling of the situation.

Freezers are always broke or leaking with little to no effort to clean up. Wet floor signs are there but they're a caution not going to prevent someone getting hurt. Staff member on the till treats you like you are going steal her carrier bags telling you how to scan them but then trusts you to scan through £200 worth of shopping by yourself. It's just insulting. Customer service is none existent never felt more unwelcome in a store, a smile wouldn't hurt. The whole store in general needs a tidy. literally 3 members of staff in this shop who seem to actually care about the customer experience.

Use to love all the fresh produce, fresh fish, bakery deli bar Starting to cut corners. the hot food bar now just pre packed. No one on duty. The meat counters poorly stocked. No 'offers' on display. Peppered sauced in cardboard box, a lot dearer and thick crap. Great loyal staff.

Great store lots to offer apart from food clothing there is a good cafe great prices, toilets. Always has good offers on. Get paper flowers and do your lottery. Easy access and has a garage if your car needs petrol air or a wash... pick up/drop off point for parcels too.

The cleanest and best lay out of all the supermarket chains. I always feel a sense of 'poshness' when walking around this particular store. Shelves always fully stocked with everything clean and displayed neatly in stark contrast to other supermarket chains. Morrisons has the best meat, in particular the beef sirloin steak and the minced beef. I don't eat fish but its great to see an in house fish counter, pizza counter and bakery where you can get pies, pasties, cooked chicken wings/thighs etc. For me that's keeping it traditional and I love that about Morrisons. The veg seems much fresher and cleaner looking compared to other supermarkets. My reason for giving a 4* instead of 5* is the meat selection in both fresh and frozen. I'd like to see the return of already flavoured chicken wings and thighs etc in the fresh section and as for the frozen section there is little in the way of variety for meat which isn't limited to Morrisons, I have noticed it with Asda as well.

This place has gone down in the last few years. Feel sorry for staff they seem to be run off their feet. Prices on shelves missing, empty shelves and looks like it needs a good clean. Prices increasing every time you go in.

I visit the made to order pizza counter and the salad bar every week. Staff are very friendly and helpful and make terrific, great value pizzas. The nearby fish counter has an excellent selection of fresh fish and seafood which is very hard to find nowadays. In store bread and cakes also available. Great smaller size store overall. Always busy but never rammed.

Absolutely disgusting staff, very snotty one lady with red hair stares at my partner when on the self-service checkouts. She is absolutely disgraceful and watches your every move. She literally stands over you. I think all the staff here are very snotty. I found the layout of the store to be very awkward. I find the staff not to be helpful at all. The atmosphere and the way the store is with staff and security is awful. Really makes you feel uncomfortable being here. The petrol station. Staff are no different and don’t even get me started on the car wash with wrong wash menu and faults if you ask me, they only care more about their Baxter Lane site because it’s larger and in a more posher snotty area of St Helens Sutton
