James and the team are great at hair cuts….this is not a ‘Turkish’ barbers remember…. And great at making your experience a rewarding one! 5*
Very intimidating experience. No consultation of any sort. Fade was not neat at all and the haircut was the exact opposite of what I asked. Before you say I should’ve stopped him, the trimmer had already done the deed. Also, sat in the seat with zero communication until at least 10-15 mins into the haircut.
James is absolutely brilliant ! My son is special needs , James took the time to explain what was happening , listen to what my son wanted , and really seemed to understand him . Highly recommend this barbers . My son hasn’t had great experiences in the past but when we left he said ‘Mum that’s the best haircut I ever had ‘ ! James has a new fan in the Wimbledon area . Keep it up
One of the best barber shops in Wimbledon park area. I recently moved in the Neighbourhood and have literally tried every barber. Being dissatisfied with most of them, tried James barber and was satisfied at last. The barber (forgot the name) was super patient, understood my need and consulted me throughout the cut. Definitely keeping them as my regular. You can do walk-ins but best if you can book a couple of days in advance as it gets filled pretty quickly. You can call them or book online.

I have been going to James for 10 years or when he first opened the shop. I now come from North London to get my hair cut from them. He and his staff have always made me feel welcome, the haircuts and service have always been exceptional. I couldn’t ask for more and I always highly recommend James to my friends, family and anyone else.
Went to get a haircut last week and had not only a great cut but also lovely conversation with the guy cutting my hair with the head tattoo. Have been going to James' for years and I actively avoid going anywhere else whilst at uni because I've always had great cuts with great people.
I've been visiting James barbers for over 5 years and have never left disappointed. As a client it's easy to tell when a barber is passionate about their craft and it's clear to see at James barbers they all are. The atmosphere is always great and all the barbers are friendly. To top it off, the barbers is very well arranged aesthetically so it's always a pleasure to visit.
Been here a couple of times now and I will definitely be continuing. They are open Sundays which really works for me, and yesterday was no different. Its the second time I've had the same barber who takes his time and gave me exactly what I asked for. He even gave both my children lollies, even though they hadn't had their hair cut. Result!
