Nice comfortable (large) room with tea and coffee making facilities. Separate well equipped kitchen with fridges microwaves and toaster. Parking would be at a premium during summer months but our visit in October was fine. Would stay here again and definitely recommend.
The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable ( a very good sleep) The bonus is a communal kitchen for guests to use that's very well stocked. Highly recommended

Tea and refreshments were available, which was a nice touch, and the shed parking was a real bonus. I requested a cot for my baby, and it was provided without any hassle, which we really appreciated. Staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay enjoyable. Overall, a very pleasant stay — we would happily return to The Lawns.”
Stayed here many times as it’s convenient when visiting relatives, nice clean rooms plenty of parking, but recently the room rates have gone up a lot we found west Retford hotel to be cheaper the last couple of visits,
4* for convenience, cleanliness, service and for location. We've used The Lawns before and used a family room on 1st floor. Simple but elegant furnishings, so well organised with 2 kitchens to either use for a simple meal or something more. We took our ingredients for a chicken curry and our son and grandson (local) joined us. We will always use The Lawns for value and ease of use. Thank you.

What a find, lovely warm welcome, warm temperature too! Just so nice to arrive after a cold journey. Friendly greeting from the manager Laura and the caretaker and housekeeper. The room and ensuite and all facilities are spotlessly clean and there are lovely clean kitchen and dining facilities too, will definitely come again if I return.
Very impressed with the accommodation at the Lawns. Family room was bright, clean and comfortable, perfect for our two night stay. Loved the separate kitchen area which was perfect as we prefer to make our own meals. Consideration given to smokers too with access to a private seating area. Staff were really friendly. Sheltered parking area was an added bonus. Would highly recommend The Lawns if you are looking for relaxing stop over. First class.
This place is a gem. Huge room spotlessly clean and modern. Nice en suite with beautiful clean towels. Coffee tea and bottled water. Honestly, can't fault it. Also nice pub over the road for drinks or meals.
