You know what motorway hotels cam be pretty rank so my expectations were low to say the least but it's not bad at all. It's badly signposted and lit with parking outside the kfc but other than that the rooms are fairly comfy, nice and warm on a freezing night and clean... what more do you want? We had breakfast across the road in the mcdonalds in the morning and the woman behind the counter was very friendly and chatty. Very nice!

Usual type of travelodge Nothing special but does exactly what you want .. Clean and tidy rooms Coffee tea etc provided. Good bed and decent shower. No complaints from me

Quick stop gap on a Sunday before heading to centre parks Sherwood forest on Monday. There was a few of use in 3 rooms and no issues spoke of. Parking was a breeze and KFC next door for dinner which we all enjoyed. Warm welcome on entrance. Only downside is the rooms are outdated. More importantly lack of sockets and no plugs next to bed. Otherwise all good! Would recommend

Perfect for a stop or a cheap room. Decent size, clean. A little dated but you don't expect much from a Travelodge. Only.tjing was I couldn't plug my phone next to the bed which was a little irritating but nothing I couldn't get over. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to.

Nice room, decent size with a big bed, a desk top with a kettle and TV, some storage space for clothes, and a decent sized bathroom with a bathtub and shower. It also had two chairs which were quite comfortable. My biggest gripe about the room was the lack of plug sockets. I use a C-PAP machine when I sleep (for sleep apnea), which needs plugging in. But there was no socket by the bed - I had to unplug the TV and use the socket at the other end of the room. Luckily the wire for the machine is long enough to reach that far, but it caused a trip hazard as the wire was crossing from one side of the room to the other. The only other plug socket was next to this, which had the kettle plugged into it - which we had to also unplug so we could charge our phones Check in was easy. Probably too easy. I just told the receptionist my wife's name (she was the one who booked the room and was waiting in the car) and she didn't ask for ID or anything, just handed me the room key and door fob and told me where the room was located. The hotel is located next to a fuel station and KFC, so it would be handy to stay in as a truck stop. We booked the room as we were attending a music festival a ten minute drive away and had our newborn son with us so didn't want to camp We stayed two nights - I accidentally left the Do Not Disturb sign on the door the first day, so we had no maid service. It wasn't a problem though as when I explained to the receptionist that I needed fresh towels, so provided them for us - so greet service Overall, I would book again if required for the same reason. It's nothing luxurious, but to just put your head down for the night and to shower and change, it's ideal - especially for the price

Basic but clean. Really good location just off the A1. Parked just outside the KFC drive through.. which is a bit weird. Generic tea and coffee in the room, bring your own if you're fussy. Staff managed to find a travel cot for our little one prior to arriving, so service was good as could be expected.

We didn't stay here but Susi on the front desk allowed us to use a room to change our baby when there was no facilities at KFC (locked toilet and no one had a key!) or at the Waitrose garage (no baby change facilities at all!). So understanding and kind when we had an emergency and it kindness costs nothing! Thank you so, so much. Talk about going above and beyond your role

Not bad for the price. Clean room. Friendly staff. Don't hear traffic from M1. No bar or restaurant. Car park small for hotel size. But would recommend for a cheap, no frills, convenient stay.

The room is spacious, there is a smart heater inside the room. Hot water works, room is quiet. The staff are friendly. You need to pay extra fee for WIFI. Although it is by the highway, but the room is quiet. It is very complicated to find the location even with Google map guidance.
