   I went to get a hair and beard trim but after the treatment for my hair, I decided to just trim my beard at home. Also, The man at the counter was sleeping when went to pay.. find a different barbershop.

   Told the guy I wanted short sicor cut so my hair have some length to it still but decided he would do a buzz cut around the back and sides but left length at front.the original length was at shoulder length. I won't go back again, the guy was also rushing to get me cut finished. Not worth the £17 I paid

   I was served by Pera, an excellent barber and the service was great. He was chatty but not too chatty and everyone there was charming to my poor daughter, who was waiting on the comfy sofa behind me. Most of the barbers there are good but I highly recommend Pera.

   I attended this barbers for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago with my son. Both barbers were so professional and polite that they made the whole experience pleasant. They both cut our hair as we wanted and the time and effort that the put into the hair cuts was impressive. I will definitely be attending again

   The first time I went it was perfectly fine and I was pleased but after that not only did I keep getting new barbers but all of them do what they want. For example one of them gave me pointed side burns when i asked not to another time they gave me a permanent parting even though when they asked me if I want it I said no. And today was the last straw I asked for 1 inch of the top and a light trim on the side and the barber repeated exactly what I said to him and I said yes I want that. But then he goes and cuts off about 4-5inches of my hair all the way round leaving me with a buzz cut. So I am extremely displeased and would advise not going to them especially if all the barbers are new ones. Their professional looks don’t match their skill.

   Overall not a great experience. It's the first time I've been here. When I entered, there was no greeting. Seems it wasn't just me as a couple of others entered without the staff saying anything, so it seems to be the norm there? I requested my hair to be cut a certain way and they attempted it while asking me questions along the way (which is good, as I can see that they're actively trying to work with me to get the cut I want). However, when my barber is nearly done, he exclaims that the hairstyle doesn't suit me, which isn't very helpful! Regardless, he continues with the cut. Later on, he takes a straight razor and shaves the hair on the back of my neck. But he handled it in a really rough way that my neck started to have a burning sensation - maybe I have sensitive skin? I left without saying anything (you can't fix the damage that's been done) and the burning is still here a few hours later. Next time, I think I'll stick to my usual barbers instead!!

   I went in today with a years length of hair. I was given an amazing scissors cut, short and sides, and a beard shaping. Fantastic job! Very reasonable prices! I will definitely be telling people about Common Barbers.
