   I took my son to George's today for the first time and we are both very happy with his haircut. His hair is type 3, we didn't want the cut to be too short, and we were listened to how we wanted it. We will definitely visit George's again.

   Costas cuts both my husband and my daughter's hair - he does a fantastic job! My husband sits quietly and calmly. My daughter not so much. Both end up with excellent haircuts. And a toffee. Would strongly recommend!

   A fine gentleman, decent haircut but for the life of me I don't understand why he didn't wash my hair when I asked for the full works. The £18.50 includes a wash as advertised on the price list on the entrance door. I paid a handsome £20 and told him to keep the change. Have I done something to upset him?

   I have been using George's barber for about 10 years and can highly recommend them. Since Covid there is now only one barber available but such are the times. I usually get served very quickly.

   A local gem. Attentive staff who engage with the customer and give an excellent cut. Strong on the extra covid cleaning between customers, so be prepared to queue and wait your turn, but the result is worth it.
