Shop is well stocked and mostly clean apart from the odd box on the floor. Bakery is great. The main let down of the whole store are the till staff and self serve staff (from my own experience). The big lad on self serve with glasses just does not do his job he stands and talks non stop to the till staff and fails to see people who need help on self serve . And the fact the till staff just yap and yap away to other staff of the self serve staff whilst serving people is so unprofessional. And I understand it’s only a Lidl people don’t expect top tier food or service . But I expect the basic “hello” , “would you like a bag” and “would you like your receipt” whereas I have not had any of this on both my visit . Even saw the till staff roll their eyes at the person infront of me whilst being served . It took FORVER for them to finish scanning my items If I was management I’d be embarrassed … wake up.

Horrendously bad. I went there today for a few items. Most were not on the shelves. The bread section had no bags at all. How unhygienic is that. The fruit and veg section had no bags either. I had to get the guy at the tills to get me a bag to put my loaf in to stop it being contaminated by the dirty conveyor belt and to stop the till operator handling it. There was a lot of empty baskets in the so called bakery. There was a lot of empty shelves in the shop. There was items in the middle of lidl which had no price displayed. When I told the manager about there being no bags at the bread depot she just walked off rudely muttering something to the effect that we must have no bags. Does this not concern her???????. Aparrently not. She should be fired immediately and the rest of the oblivious staff taken to task over their jobsworth attitude.. Similarly the tills were again a major problem as is common in all lidl branches but is worst here. There was only one manned till open with a queue at it. There was a massive queue at the the self service tills but nobody seems to notice or care. A few weeks ago when I called by there was NO manned tills open at all. Completely unacceptable. If you are planning on going here then do yourself a favour and don't bother.. It's a horrible place with obnoxious staff and management. If you want cheap and cheerful there is an aldi just up the road. Quality is low to average similar to lidl but the service is miles better and the shelves are full. If you don't mind paying a bit more there is a sainsbury store nearby too where the service and quality are both good. In conclusion avoid this Lidl branch like the plague. Until they realise what customer service is its best to steer well clear. A disgrace of a shop that does not deserve your custom. Shame on you Lidl. Sort it out its a mess. Lidl big on queues and empty shelves and lidl on customer service.

Most shelves empty. Staff seem more intrested talking to each other about not drinking than helping people at the self checkout tills. Don't think I will be returning anytime soon and I've used the shop for years. Very dissatisfied

We buy our Salmon and Cod from here as it is way better then other supermarkets, also the fruit selection they offer is very good and has better taste compared to other supermarkets, Tesco is hit and miss with the taste of their strawberries sometimes they are very good but not always, Lidl seems to be on point. But as I've stated above the fish selection is hard to beat thr quality hence it is a regular spot for us to visit.

Lots of choices to see, and good quality food. I always like to browse the aisles to look at the new weekly offers on show.

I like Lidl stores, but of late they seem to be rather under stocked. I don't know whether they have delivery and supply problems or whether it's the managers of the stores failing to keep the stores fully stocked, but it is annoying when you go for something and when you get there you are looking at a bare and barren shelf.
