Lovely and pleasant experience, i’ve stayed in number of premier inns across the country and this was a really nice setting good location. Bar is welcoming, warm and reasonable priced. anthony really went above and beyond to make our experience in the bar. would return
It is what a premier inn is. Well priced and looked after room Breakfast wasn't great though. They had such a small food area that items were being emptied by 3 or 4 people and then took 20 minutes to replenish. Not the staffs, but on a fully booked weekend you would expect more than 8 eggs being available per 20 minutes (as an Egg-sample!)
During my recent stay, Megan, Anthony, Theresa, and Chloe provided exceptional service, demonstrating the highest level of professionalism throughout my visit. This was my second time staying at this hotel, and once again I was incredibly impressed by the consistently outstanding customer service. I don’t typically stay in hotels, as I usually prefer the comfort of home, so I don’t often expect such a high standard from a hotel chain. However, the team exceeded my expectations, and I was genuinely pleased with the quality of service delivered by the staff mentioned above. Thank you to Premier Inn and its team for such a warm and welcoming experience. I look forward to my next stay at Premier Inn Meadowhall!
We had food in the evening against our better judgement. Plenty of food places down the road I would use them. I lost the will to live with the toaster in the morning. Again I would go down the road for breakfast. The rooms were the basic standard no problems with them at all. The sleep was good.
Visited here this morning for breakfast. All the staff are very helpful and well mannered, the breakfast selection was amazing an all hot food was hot and present. Well worth the visit I would rate it 10 out of 10 Didn't rate rooms as didn't stay overnight
A cheap place to stay the night. No frills but everything worked. A bit noisy with people crashing around the place and snoring carrying through the walls. The staff work incredibly hard because there are so few of them, but maintain a friendly atmosphere.
I seriously doubt our room had been cleaned before staying in it. Dust on TV and shelves, black fluff on the floor, glitter on the third “bed” (aka a sofa) and floor. Also appeared to be pitch black grime on the tiles in the bathroom (which was outdated, no ventilation and grimey. One towel was damp/wet when we got there?! Had they even been changed. I shudder to think. There was a strange smell to the room, like old cigars. The room was bizarrely hot, even when turned the temperature down, normally I would just open a window, but due to the location, you can’t or you’ll be kept awake all night by extremely heavy traffic, drunk people, smokers, and children. The lift had not seen a hoover in ages and also stunk of smoke. The corridors had also not been hoovered for a hot minute. The dining room was filthy, tables sticky, chairs sticky, dishes and waste left on the side for easily an hour at a time whilst staff were out back or stood out front having a chat. The couple times we did go to reception for something, the receptionist was sat on their phone and couldn’t care less about the customer. Worst premier inn stay that I have ever had, will not waste time nor money returning to this place
This hotel has a serious issue with crime involving vehicles in the accompanying car park and is unable to provide a safe environment for guests. During the second night of my recent stay around three vehicles including my own were subjected to break ins. This was despite the night staff witnessing the attack and calling the police, who failed to respond. The next evening exactly the same thing happened. I have subsequently learned from the staff that this is happening multiple times per week and the police very rarely respond to the attacks. As I had booked for a week there was virtually no chance of me leaving without becoming a victim. Premier Inn are well aware of this issue but continue to accept bookings to the hotel whilst withholding all information regarding the situation from their guests. In my opinion this amounts to negligence and I will be considering legal action against the hotel. Had I been informed at the start of my stay I would have immediately relocated my vehicle to a secure car park at the very least. Instead I have a bill for £1000 of damage to my vehicle together with the charges for making alternative arrangements at the last minute. The staff at the hotel were very understanding and empathetic but the response from head office was disgusting. Whilst I appreciate that they have no control over the actions of the people involved I expected a small goodwill gesture towards the expenses I have incurred in the form of a refund on the booking. Instead I was told "there was nothing wrong with the room" and the best they will do is refund one night. I will never book a Premier Inn again any urge anyone else to do the same. Instead try to find a hotel run by people with some level of human decency who won't choose to put profit above all else.
No one on reception so we tried the terrible self check in machine. Someone came to help! But the room they gave us was really hot. There was no air con. The window would open which is usually great but we were above reception and there was both noise and smoke from the smokers out there. The duvet was the normal heavy one which seems mad in the hot weather, so hard to sleep. I'm sure Lenny would not be satisfied! Next morning noticed the corridor and breakfast room were nice and cool but our room was still hot! Breakfast staff and food were lovely.
