Very good barber. Friendly staff and cheap prices. The barber furthest away from the shop window is especially good with lots of experience. Would recommend waiting for him.

Can be a hit and miss here. Original people cut hair excellent 5/5. The temp/newer staff cut 3/5.

Hair was cut fine at a competitive price however the let down for me was the fact it’s cash only in a day in age we don’t carry cash around on us.

Not sure who has been reviewing this before, but certainly wasn't a memorable experience for me. I was in and out in around 15 minutes - which to me should evidence that the haircut was lacking somewhat. Came back and took out the scissors to cut some of the longer bits off myself. But if you want cheap and a quick in-and-out, this is for you.

Absolutely disgusted at how my 15 month old baby boys hair was cut by dan. He is missing side burns and his hair has been cut all different lengths. His double crown has not even been catered for and I was informed by his father that his hair was cut while asleep. I would strongly avoid having your hair cut by dan as he clearly takes no pleasure in his work and does not cater to the individuals needs. I can’t even have his hair rectified and it has to grow out before it can be touched. It looks that it looks like they took thinning scissors to his hair.

I booked online for a change as I didn't have time to wait today and it was straight forward. The haircut and beard trim was as usual perfect and the price was very reasonable. It is great being able to visit your local Barber and shops after the last couple of years of lockdowns and pandemic restrictions. I highly recommend "The Barber Shop"

Came here once and had a great haircut. Unfortunately in the past three weeks I've made three appointments and had them all cancelled, two of them on the day. It's annoying because I was really happy with the cut I got, and I understand things come up and cancellations happen, but after three times in a row I give up.

Having wrongly expressed my frustration about this Barber shop in a previous review. I received a helpful response from the owner and feel my review was indeed an unfair assessment and was written out of frustration at a different time. I have therefore deleted it and can only say that this barber shop has always been exceptionally welcoming to all. The service is always first rate and a free cuppa is always very welcomed. I would absolutely recommend here!

Nick has been cutting my son's hair for at least 5 years and does exactly what he asks for. Diana cuts my wife's hair and they have a lovely chat (makes a change for Diana for dealing with the men). Fantastic service and even better prices. All of team are very welcoming and professional. The free drinks aren't bad either. Highly recommended to men, women and children.
