So happy after taking my dog here! I have a very nervous dog who isn't the best with people but Ginny was so good with her and she was so well looked after. I'm so happy now I have found somewhere I can take my dog. Thank you so much! xxx
After having a few bad experiences in the past with other groomers I was recommended to call Ginny for our toy poodle. He's been to see her four times now and each time its exactly how we want it so couldn't be happier. I'm sure no dogs like going to the groomers but he seems comfortable with it and definitely likes her!!
Ginny has been grooming my little cavapoochon for around 3 years. She always does a wonderful job and follows my instructions as to how I like my dog to look. My dog has a very curly, knotty coat and generally hates being brushed (bad combination!) but she loves Ginny and runs in happily every time. Highly recommend!
Took my dog here for the 1st time last week my dog is never settled with any groomers but Ginny was so good with him!! Amazing at her job would definitely recommend! He smelt amazing when he came home and not stressed after being there!!
Didn’t handle our puppy cockerpoo well, he was really nervous and wasn’t allowed time to settle. We had to pick him up early with half his fur cut. Rearranged the appointment and it was cancelled last minute due to an “emergency”. Not the best service and we’ve never returned.
Our Toy Poodle Teddy has been going to Hartington Hounds for over 2 years now, we wouldn't go anywhere else! Ginny is caring, professional and really looks after him.
I don’t usually leave reviews, and have done so with a heavy heart and much consideration; however feel it is appropriate. Ginny is great when she’s great, but when she’s not, the results are long lasting. Shearing my Chow after stating that he was too matted to groom, a statement that I strongly disagree with. Chows should never be shaved unless there is no other choice, this was not the case in this situation. There are some before and after photos here for clarity. I’m sorry to leave a negative review, but it’s been 4 months since this incident and my dogs fur still hasn’t grown back in some areas, and it probably never will, his coat is literally ruined. After speaking to people who have seen Bear, this is not something that has only happened to me.
